this has been done before, but again, personally I would never sell suarez, you don't sell your best players unless they want out but I can totally see ross' point, I just don't agree with it. and no way should ross be advocating the sale of quality players because in the past 6 TRANSFER WINDOWS, we've shown ZERO ability to replace those quality players.

To be honest - it does not matter what these players do in the league now - yes some have impressed more than others but the truth of the matter is that the team as a whole has been utter shite and the only players you could say that have had good seasons would be:
1) Suarez
2) Agger (when he played)
3) Skirtel
4) Lucus (when he played)
6) Enrique
The others have been utter garbage and inconsistent - I mean over the course of a season you could only give them a score of 2/10.

Enrique had an excellent first half of the season. He's played nearly every game and it has worn him down I guess. He deserves to be on that list. Our back line is sorted.
This is why Rosco would fail at science. The idea Suarez is our best player is also an observable fact which supercedes any theory or hypothesis. Yet Rosco is caught up on the totally irrelevant observable fact that he cannot identify any statistic in support of Saurez being our best player. Rather than accepting his limited grasp of statistics is at fault, he has instead placed his pride and reputation at the mercy of any child capable of making the simplest of observations.
I don't think Ross is disputing Suarez on his day is a world class player, however more often than not he's not on his day, and for a striker to return 16 goals in nearly 40 games isn't good enough. Plus a world wide damaging story for the club. And when he's not on his day, he can be pretty woeful in front of goal.
I'd give him one more season, Carroll has been worse so should be further up the tree to be sold in my opinion.

Yes but he's not an out and out striker is he. He shouldn't be playing up top on his own. He should play a Dalglish type role and with a world class striker ahead of him. I think he's done fucking marvelous given the role he's been asked to play and the fact he's partnered by Carroll one week then not the next.
