Xherdan Shakiri

Is Shaqiri good? Has he shown that he can elevate himself from starlet to star? And where would he play for us?

40M is still a low valuation considering what other players are going for and therefore you'd want Shaqiri to have a reasonable chance of becoming a 20-25M plus player himself.

Would he not play on the right wing instead of super Stu?

I would fap until the middle part of my cock plopped out and left me with just a flap of skin like a water balloon.
One of my favs.
Him and Coutinho.....and Higuain.....id faint.

30 million plus Shakiri and we could play ball. With the additions Bayern have already made it doesn't look like he'll get much of a look in there and I still think Suarez is worth more than 40 million.

Ha. Imagine if we stole Higuain from under the noses of Arsenal and they couldn't make any more of their "bids" for Suarez.

Same to be honest, he's a winger though, two ways I see it, he plays on the left and Coutinho goes to number 10, or he plays on the right and Downing goes to West Ham. He's left footed, so on the right he'd fit in with this cutting inside idea Rodgers seems to like.

I know I posted the article, but i don't see anything to get excited about. Caught Offiside are being purely and utterly lazy writing this article without quoting any sources.

How about Shakiri, $25m which we spend on Higuain & Thiago on a seasons loan.

I'd probably laugh my balls off. Piss off Utd & Arsenal.

Thiago's gone to Bayern.

But yes right now there's no player I want more than Higuain if just to piss Arsenal off.

if bayern get suarez they will have one hell of an impressive team . But with thiago and gotze signed , will there be a place for the likes of muller and schweinsteiger ? how old is schweinsteiger ? i'd happily have him in our midfield .

Suarez going to Bayern, assuming the price is OK, is the most acceptable of outcomes bar him staying

I'd prefer Madrid slightly just so I can label them a team of cunts, not watch them and have a little chuckle when they (hopefully) don't win anything.

how much did they buy him for?
Reported in the press as "around 10 million euros (£8.4m)"

German journalist Raphael Honigstein claims its €11.6 million

Jupp Heynckes
"Xherdan's intelligent play and dribbling skill will add to our team's strength next season," added FCB head coach

Ottmar Hitzfeld
"Xherdan is an exceptional player”, said . "He is a totally committed footballer, who always goes looking for the ball. He would be good for any team.

"The transfer makes sense. I told Uli Hoeneß about a year ago that Xherdan is an extraordinary player and an adaptable person who could play in any top team."

His favorite position is on the right side of midfield, but he's equally at home on the left or as a deep striker. The "Kraftwürfel" (BLICK) (power cube) can also double-up as a fullback -- a significant advantage in the light of Bayern's continued problems on the right defensive side.

Short and stocky, Kosovo-born Shaqiri made his professional debut at 17, his international debut less than one year later and was last month voted as Switzerland's Player of the Year.

He also led Switzerland to the final of the European Under-21 Championships in Denmark this year.

He is at his best playing wide on the right wing, then cutting inside to fire in shots with his left-foot, the route which led to all three of his goals against Bulgaria.

The Swiss press is also encouraging him to leave Bayern in search of regular football in today's paper.

Despite your best efforts to highlight the important bits there's still an awful lot of information to process there...............Binny, could you re-Binny the Binny'd bits please.

We play with one striker, it's fine.
Considering that sturridge is the only one we KNOW that will score goals and since he's joined us he keeps getting injured its hardly fine. Borini has shown nothing to say that can help with the scoring burden and aspas may need time to settle. I can't see Rodgers not buying another striker when suarez leaves.

Maybe he will, but he's already bought a striker this window, so I'd prefer him to spend big money elsewhere. If we sell Suarez I'll want him to buy a <£10million striker for backup.

Is the higuain and small cash deal or this chap and more money a better deal?

Would have thought the hig be better as we have a good finisher Replacment..?

has been given encouragement from the club’s Bavarian employers that he could be allowed to leave the Allianz Arena, but only for the right price.

Oh for fecks sake, I was hoping they'd agree to sell him at the wrong price.

Not a fan, he's short, fat and Swiss. That's three strikes.
