WWIII Return of the Ruskie

You’re clearly a Satanist who is funding the neo-Nazis in Ukraine 😉

I keep in touch with Andriy on Facebook. Dynamo Kyiv’s current owner-president Surkis shamefully ran away with his adult sons and millions in cash across the border to Hungary, so I told Andriy after the war is over, he will have a new big job on his hands 🙂

Amazing lol. I've got a couple moving into ours in the next week or so. I hope they know how to run pubs.

So the next day after the massacres of the civilian populations in Bucha have been revealed (it’s not just Bucha BTW - I’m seeing exactly the same kind of horrifying stuff coming out of Chernihiv and Sumy regions that the Russians are being kicked out of today: mass graves, entire families including kids executed and burned, women and children as young as 3 raped and killed, mass starvation - you will see more and more of this documented and reported on as Western media make their way to newly freed towns), Russia’s main news agency RIA Novosti publishes this op-ed titled “what we must do with Ukraine.” Here are the main points translated:

Basically freely admitting that their aim is fully exterminating the nation, killing off the elite and forever extinguishing any sense of Ukrainian national identity. The article also claims that because Ukraine doesn’t have any “external trappings of Nazism” such as an actual Nazi party or leader in power, it’s actually a more dangerous form of Nazism that is masquerading as pro-European and pro-Democracy aspirations, which must be completely eradicated with forced re-education that takes place over at least a generation.

With the Russians retreating and now talking about liquidating the Ukranian's, that makes for a fucking horrific prospect.

It's a real shame that there are people out there who willingly believe such conspiracies ....like Ukranians killed their own people to create optics.

In this day and age everybody engages in propaganda as it's become a method of survival, but a person should be able to determine what is propaganda and what is not. Mindlessly peddling propaganda stories and becoming the voice of lies without any thought is despicable. This is a product of the social media culture. You should be able to call out the person for their stupidity even if its your friend/family. I'm not saying this for this thread...I'm increasingly finding it difficult in real life as there is no room to say..." You are believing in bullshit, buddy"...without it affecting friendship.

I think this is a difficult and interesting discussion - probably worthy of a new thread.

The question is what happens when the bullshit (not this thread) becomes factual ... example: Twitter head admitting (let's be honest, a calculated and deliberate) mistake of blocking information on biden's laptop. How many of us called friends idiots for believing that stuff which is now under federal investigation? Personally, I try to have the discussions with people (even family) who have points of view that I find to be bullshit

It's not actually tanks, but mobile artillery, either way a bad sign that Russia are retreating before they start an indiscriminate bombardment, and then some:

Found this amusing.

I was chatting with my other half the other day and she was wondering whether a similar situation to Bosnia / Yugoslavia would emerge once the dust settled somewhat and I kinda dismissed it thinking surely not.

I guess even with how connected we all are now and various advancements, some things just don't change.

It's amazing how these anti vax pro trump dickwands have moved on to full on support for Putin. They think we're brainwashed. It's sad.

We’ve seen just how easily a couple of our fellow, well educated forumites got sucked into right wing/ alt-right propaganda echo chambers so it now becomes less and less of a surprise to see people so wildly manipulated.

What happened to them knobski’s anyway?
Are they away in Mexico trying to break out Tommy Robinson?

That’s from the original all lives matter proponent, you gotta hand it to him. At least he’s consistent…
Back in 2020 regarding BLM:

I don't remember Le Tissier heading the ball too much during his career, I guess he might have other issues.

Just heard a comment on CNN,
"5 wks ago the Russian's were considered to have the 2nd most powerful military in the world,
......now they are considered to have the 2nd most powerful military in Ukraine."
