Talk about in the Press that Spurs are looking to make a £25m bid for our Captain. Every player has a price, what's the value of Henderson?

to Tottenham £90m

he has been a bit shite this season but I reckon he's just a player that takes a long time to play himself back to top form, not a player we should flog to rivals

Around 30m is what we should be getting for him.

Not good enough in my opinion long term for what we need with regard to creativity and quality overall, but for another club which don't require Klopp standards of football, he'd be perfect.

He's a good player who's clearly struggled after a big injury. Every player has his price but there are other things to factor too, he's one of a few who actually gives a fuck and gives his all on the pitch, like your Milner's and Gareth Barry's, maybe not "great" enough to be an ever-present, but important enough to be a reliable cog in the squad.

We wont sell him, bs rumour and 25 mill from Spurs wouldnt even be enough to get his Lego haircut.

As Mark says every winning team have loads of those ever present 7/10 players. He's one of them.

I backed him for the captaincy, but he's been utter shite this year. Much more the Henderson of year 1 than year 2. Obviously, the injury hasn't helped him, but I think he needs to take a bit more responsibility and drastically improve his goal threat to keep his place.

I'd be very tempted by £25m.

No chance. He's a leader on the pitch, he gives his all, and is capable of moments of genuine quality.

He's our CAPTAIN
He's young
He's talented
He gives his best
He's one of those rare players who can lead and fight on a pitch and actually gives a shit.

No way would I sell him.

He's a grafter, but he's not actually that good, he doesn't do/contribute enough for me. I'd sell him for 25mill.

Since the injury, he hasn't been the force of old. I'd be tempted to sell for about 28m and use Milner in his place until finding someone to go alongside Can in the middle.

25m doesn't quite seem enough, but its probably not far off. 35m would be a definite yes. 30m probably.

The extent of the plantar fascitis would be key to the decision

25 million is a good price for him, but who the fuck do Spurs think they are?

God I hope we fucking smash them at Anfield.

We can follow that up with a 25 million bid for Kane.

Its from the newspaper we dont mention so I'm guessing there is as much truth to this as us being interested in Kane.

I hope we smash them though. All over the place.

Not at that price. And not to Spurs.

35 million to someone else and I'd be tempted, despite being a huge Henderson fan. But not to Spurs.

Who is it acceptable to sell him to in England?
I mean if you think Henderson is wank or average does it matter? Won't he go to whoever and stink up the place?

If we get Mkhitaryan or Kroos or some other top class midfielder Hendo can go to Man U for all I care.

So you'd replace Hendo with a winger/AM or a defensive/holding midfielder? Not much sense in that.
I'd rather get someone like Kroos in to sit deep with Can and Hendo on either side.

We wont get either Kroos or Mkhitaryan though.

Our center midfield options are all a bit Samey Samey...i wouldnt be againt getting rid of players and bringing in someone who offers something different......but i wouldnt be saying all this if Lucas was even remotely effective in what he offers.

So may be just get a good replacement for Lucas who can hold down a starting berth on merit, then we can enjoy the benefit of having a couple of industrious midfielders like Henderson and Milner who can compete for one position.

Im trying to say "no, i wouldnt sell"

Is Kroos really a holding midfielder? Don't remember that he was during the World cup or for Bayern.
Granted, Mkhitaryan is an attacking midfielder and yes I'd have him instead of Hendo. Goals galore.

Riechedly Bazoer wouldn't cost 50 million but he might in the future. Plays as either box to box or holding midfielder for Ajax. Does everything well, including scoring a few goals. He's still only 19 but is currently being watched by Barcelona, Arsenal, Chelsea and Man City.
