Anyone watch the Scotland-Ukraine game? To be honest I feel pretty fed up with football at the moment and only turned it on around 70 minutes. I probably feel as happy about Ukraine progressing as I do about the fact that Robbo will finally get some rest. As for Ukraine, they seemed to outplay Scotland pretty comprehensively; I hope the players will climb down from that emotional high and be ready to perform just as well against Wales, who will present a different challenge.

Nah. Can't be arsed no more. The Qatari WC is the modern day Hunger Games, built on the lives of hundreds of thousands of migrants who were treated like scum, for a global audience to appease the rich and famous. Screw that.

Apparently we were on a ferry from Rosslare to Cherbourg when Spain were playing Northern Ireland. The ferry was filled with Spanish people who were being particularly boisterous and the ferry erupted when Norn Iron scored against them.

I don't remember that, I just remember crying the whole way from Belfast to Rosslare...

Yes… I would be crying too - as you left the land of glorious Tayto to travel through the sub standard Tayto badlands… then on to a land of no Tayto at all!!!!

Although… no Tayto is likely to be better than the Southern muck.
