I remember waking up before school and seeing highlights of Romania's Hagi scoring a good goal in the 94 world cup. I spent most of the lunch time trying to score a similar goal in the playground.

Im on a computer which doesnt let me on youtube but as far as world cup goals go for some reason the one i'm thinking of was a "non" goal by Munteanu of Romania he smacked it from fully 35 to 40 yards and it seemed to rise all the way in smacked the underside of the bar bounced behind the line and then spin took it out.... not given.

I loved Josimar's goal against Northern Ireland in 1982.

Any of the goals by the long range artists from the Dutch 1970's tend to be scorchers. Arie Haan springs to mind.

For some reason I always enjoy Archie Gemmills goal against Holland in 1978, but then I remember he's Scottish!

David Narey scored a corker for Scotland v Brazil to open the scoring. Unfortunately it only served to anger the Brazilians who then trashed them 4-1. 1982 I believe?
