What in the name of fuck did they disallow that goal for?
The officials have been shocking so far in this WC
 
Remember last season when Pelligrini came out saying that officials from smaller football countries were not up to reffing big games - he had a point.

Yep, it's blindingly obvious.

If I were cynical, which I am, then I'd say it suits FIFA cos they can add 'challenges' which adds to the drama they love, & gives them a ready made excuse for what would otherwise look like bias in favour of host nations & the nations that FIFA want to progress in order to push their agenda.

That is one of the most inept (or corrupt) linesman displays I have ever seen. Bring out the firing squad.

Referee is almost as bad .. a clear clear yellow for Mbia's arm-in-the-face 'challenge'.

Got to feel for Mexico, clearly the better team and hopefully they'll get the win they deserve in the 2nd half. This Cameroon team are a disgrace. Cameroon teams of the past have played powerful, skilful, football but this team have no fire, no desire and no skill .. they are playing 3 games and going home for sure.

It is really.

In the Champions League you may have a Slovenian ref for example, the gap between reffing in the Slovenian league and a high pressure CL game is huge, how can that ref be prepared and ready to ref such big games? thats not to say all of them are not up to it because some are.

Its the same with the World Cup and Euros, how can anyone expect Iranian, Ghanian, Bosnian, Japanese refs/linesman to be up to scratch? really the best most experienced refs should ref these competitions regardless of nationality, the World Cup is the pinnacle of the game and we have these mickey mouse officials in charge of it all, its retarded when you think about it.
 
2 out of 2 for the refs now.

Biggest tournament in the world and this is how it opens. Shameful.

Just heard word that the goal is actually going to be retracted. The linesman flagged for dos santos being involved in the play again.
