Argentina will win the World Cup even though Maradona seems rather clueless at times.
They've simply got to many world class strikers to be kept quiet.

They looked irresistable in the group games four years ago, but fell apart against an average Germany side. Maradona as coach seems unlikely to improve them from that performance.

Looked far better when Gerrard was moved into the middle. Noticed him pressing high up the pitch on a number of occasions, which stopped them from getting into our half with as much ease.

Nah, they won't. Not enough Danish centre-backs.

Point taken.
That said even though they concede three they'll probably just score seven.
Australia beat New Zealand 2-1 last night in a friendly. I had tickets and still didn't go. Watched it at a mates in 3D (not so much).
One of the worst games ever. Two fucking rubbish sides, 3 rubbish goals, and it looked fucking freezing.
On the plus side, Australia (Grella and Cahill to be exact) pulled out 4 of the worst tackles I've ever seen on a football pitch. Utterly unbelievable they didn't get some red cards for the efforts. I'll see if I can find them on youtube cos they're worth viewing again and again.
Oar's a fucking child Dreamy. There's no way he's old enough to be at a World Cup.
Australia have 3 good players - Cahill, Schwarzer, Bresciano. That's it. Some of the 'talen't coming off the bench was embarassing - Holman? Rukyyavitska? Valeri?

They're fucking awful.

He is but he is the only one with any sort of pace, even McDonald looked slow.
And the fans chanting was f*cking shameful. Holman got booed from the second he came on from his own fans until he scored.
I don't think anybody has ever said Carrick was better than Alonso
Although I suppose during Alonso's alleged 'slump' ,maybe the fact that Carrick was winning lots of trophies and getting a few more goals it may have been said...

Carrick was in better form for a season and was important in how they played. Rooney, Tevez and Ronaldo loved those quick, incsive balls to feet. But there's never been any doubt that Alonso was the more talented footballer.
what the FUCK is up with these england managers? lampard with a holding midfielder, gerrard of rooney, fucking OBVIOUS but no england manager wants to do it.
