Carroll is starting to resemble a footballer, Kuyt has got his form back and Bellamy would always be an automatic starter were it not for his knees.

It's encouraging seeing our forward line finally getting into shape.

A lot, perhaps more than usual, will depend on what they've each shown in training. Like Hardcastle I'd be tempted to put the guy in for Bellers to save wear and tear on the Welsh wizard, the difference in my case being that I wouldn't make hard and fast decisions in advance about when/if, and for whom, to bring Bellers on.

That's what I want to see. It'd be the hardest working forward line in the league, and a nightmare to play against. Carroll can come off the bench to try and bully defenders once we're cruising.
