Will.I.An

According to that Macca lad on the liverpool-rumours site, Willian had made clear his preference for Liverpool over Spurs, but we refused to pay the extra 3 million to meet Anzhi's price.

Someone should spread them over the Spurs fans forums. Should be fun 😉

Well fuck those kind of players mate.

We arent far off.
We just need one or two top players.
We have spent nothing and recouped 12m in wages so we have to have money to spend for the right players.
Im cool and the gang, i think we will get it right. Mr Rodgers is the shit.

Got an avatar 😉

Believe it or not, our last signing is coming in. I smell it in waters ...

Has he actually signed for them by the way?

Not yet.. rumours now he is on the train to liverpool..

We going to have to pay a premium on some players but Willian isn't it and certainly not a 10M premium.

Btw, can you show me a) how much he's been sold for and b) how much we bid? Until you do that, I don't think your comment ("we were only prepared to pay 30 mill") shows much bar believing everything the media feeds you ... dumbass.

And all Willian had to do was say he will not move to Spurs. So preference means nothing if he doesn't back it up with action.

Good work RedBird.
Youre al-fucking-right you are.

And Ninjaboy, its youre fucking site im helping sort out and tidy up.

lol ninjaboy...

BTW we are introducing paid membership next month... 😗

appreciated btw...

if we really wanted him and he was essential to the team, we would have stumped the money. he wasn't ...

That's my take on it. We can't moan about being bum raped on fees for people (Downing, Carroll, Henderson) and then when we identify our targets, assess their value and the price we will pay, drop our trousers and invite people to shove a length up us.

We had a value, they wanted more, we didn't feel he was worth going that far for. What does worry me is that we don't seem to have a Plan B for when this happens.

If we really wanted this lad we would have paid those 3 mill imho, so its all bollocks.

In the end I agree with the decision not to overpay. He's not worth over 30 mill £.
Its no guarantee that he'll be a success and we're in no position to be stuck with a player not performing for that kind of money.

17 mill for Yarmolenko sounds a much better deal.
