Will.I.An

We've lost out on 3 players hardly any of us had heard of. Fuck them. They were all around the 25 and playing for mickey mouse teams, so I wouldn't say we're missing out on any creme de la creme. Like the Arselol with arseshaving.
I'd rather we sign players that want to come in and give their all for this club, than pay over the odds for some cunt who's not really arsed to be here. If these players aren't 40 fucking mill a piece with big flash fucking haircuts, who cares. A decent player who is a grafter every game and gives 100% is a much better asset to the TEAM than some fucker that arsed once every 10 games.

Think about Spurs negotiations with Will I Am:

- We're signing over £100m worth of players this Summer
- We've either made the champions league or been very close the last 3 seasons, you'll at least have Europa league football this season
- You'll be based in London

Liverpool negotiations:

- We have a great history

I'm not worried, because we'll be back up the table soon enough. Realistically we just don't have the same pulling power as some of our rivals at the moment.

It wasn't so long ago where Spurs where in our position and we'd nabbed one of their best players at the time, because we were considered a step-up. We're currently in a tier of a few clubs in and around fourth spot, and will have to make-do with not winning all of our direct transfer battles with them (stopping short of paying outrageous wages).

none of the players above, with the possible exception of Lamela where there are doubts about his attitude (too cocky), fall in the category of not being arsed eveery other game. A decent grafter who gives 100% if a great asset for a team hoping to avoid relegation! Not an asset for a team wanting to be in the top 4!

Lazy cunt.

No, we've won trophies recently enough and have actually signed some players this summer. We can still laugh at Arsenal until that changes.

Hahahahahahahaha.

Ha

Considering two of our starting eleven on Saturday were new signings, the Arsenal comparison is poor at best.

yeah, but did we lose out to spurs for those type of players? I can sort of understand your Reals, Manures and Co, but we have lost out to SPURS! WTF?

They outbid us with the Bale money. Our bid was rejected. Wheter he would have rejected us and signed for Spurs if both bids were accepted no one knows.

Tbh, I'm quite pleased the club decided against overpaying for a player that most likely wasnt a target but a player that became available.

30 mill + and 5 mill in agent fees for someone you dont know how will adapt, thats to much for us in our current situation.

Never in for Lamela. Didn't get chance to even discuss terms with Mhik. Costa didn't want to come, nor did Willian once Spurs were interested.

The Armenian we didnt speak to cos his agent wouldn't let us..

Costa was using us to get a new deal.

We refused to pay over the asking price / fucking stupid agents fees for Willian - he never said he didn't want to come.

So more negative interpretation of facts, but carry on.

the new Arsenal? fuck off. We're the new Stoke, just with a better playing style. we're an embarassement and we'll hpoefully get relegated to show those utter cunts in charge why they should have spent an extra 3 million on Willian.

You're wrong on Willian. And I'm not being negative.

While generally I think Spurs handle their business pretty well, in the Willian case it was advertised they absolutely had to sell and they paid well over the odds.

It's hard to fathom what our problem is unless there's a money issue.

not sure about paying over the odds, willian went for massive amounts already, circumstances fortuitously meant that he could be sold for less but we seemed to have chickened out.

Chickened out? He went for 30 mill + and on top of that 5 mill in other fees.

Spurs overpaid and since we didnt match it I'm guessing and hoping that we've got other targets lined up that we feel are better value for money.

I really hope so ... we can wait (I think - though I may be wrong here) until Jan to buy a CB & sell Skittles ... but we need one more attacking player. Another big boost for the team.

What's the difference between 30 and 35 million? A 20m champs league place!
