who's doing what in Jan

City will do something. Pepe wants De Jong to reinforce the midfield, but he's not interested. I wonder if they'll move for Wanyama who's struggling to get a game at Spurs. They really miss Fernandinho when he's not in the side. I don't think United will do much. They're still good enough to make an assault on the top four positions if others slip up and they'll be reluctant to sign players without a permanent manager in place. They are where they are because they've had too many(poor) managers in short space of time and they're lacking cohesion as a result. Letting that smug dwarf twat sign players will only add to that.

The big one is whether or not Real Madrid move for Hazard. That could really fuck them up. He'll certainly bin them off to step into Ronaldo's boots at Madrid.
Hazard has been saying he wants to become a 'Chelsea legend'. That doesn't sound like someone about to move on out of the PL, much though I wish he would.

I sincerely hope Klopp does not sign anyone just because the owners 'want him to get a star yank in the team'. FFS !
Nah, I'd say Klopp obviously rates him highly, so its best of both worlds. If he does want him the owners may be extra keen to do the deal for non-footballing reasons though.

Depends on how drunk he was when he said it.

'Eden, you were so bladdered last night mate, do you remember what you did? You was wandering around shouting you're 'Gonna be a Chelsea legend!'... then you fell into a bush'.

The thing is, the commercial potential stuff will be factored in the price already. Not sure if the figures reported in the press are accurate, but anything over 50M is quite a lot for a kid who seems to have stalled in his development somewhat and currently cannot get into the team. Klopp does rate him, but like I wrote before, there are a few factors working against this: that he is primarily a right-sided player, where we already have the biggest stars of the team and that he doesn't quite score enough to seriously compete with the likes of Mane and Salah and paying over the odds for essentially a competition to Shaqiri seems over-indulgent. Again, too bad – he's a really great kid and I'd love to see him in Liverpool, but honestly in recent months it seemed less and less likely that he'd end up here.

He's off to Barca

Honestly, I don't see him as being a good fit with the character of our team. He seems like a complete blert, who adores himself. Klopp wants a particular kind of personality on top of footballing ability.

Bayern are looking to buy Hudson-Odoi from Chelsea for 13 mill.
I wouldn't mind if we went and signed this kid

Bild are reporting Chelsea have agreed a £50m deal for pulisic .noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo9ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Knowing his luck, he fell into Kate Bush

1980s Kate that is, not the current model

Why would they sell him ? Kid's going to be a very very good player. More BS I suspect as the January media wheels start to churn.

Sounds too good to be true, but if it is true...he's the type we should be signing

I haven't seen enough of hudson-odoi, but what I have seen he's been "ok"

Strip away the youthful exuberance and adrenaline, and I don't see enough there to be excited over.

So few of the Chelsea youth team, who are fantastic at that level, don't seem to progress.

The boy is a bit raw still from what I've seen. Has a case of the Zahas, tends to dribble too much, doesn't make the right decisions, needs to bulk up a little.
Still in my book he's better than any winger we have in the reserves.

It feels a little like Bayern (or the media over there) looking at the success of Sancho and wondering who else might follow suit.

Good for English football if a load of our youngsters start playing regularly in the Bundesliga.

Sancho is really an amazing talent. Out of Dortmund's three young stars he's the one shining the brightest at the moment. Then comes Bruun Larsen then Pulisic.

Which is also why I would understand if we were not prepared to spend a large sum on Pulisic. He's a mighty fine player, the same age as Bruun Larsen, but he has lost his place in the pecking order to the young Dane on Dortmunds left wing.

Sancho seems to have it all really, reminds me a bit of Sane when he was at his best for Schalke or even Eden Hazard on his best days. Much more of a goal threat than Pulisic too.

Bruun Larsen is build like a track & field sprinter. Tall, muscular and athletic build with blistering pace and great ability overall. I know this is a potential banana-skin but physical-wise he does remind me of a young Cristiano Ronaldo. It is neigh on impossible to defend against a player with so much power, pace and ability all in one and as he's got brains too this kid, he might take it very far.

Pulisic isn't as strong build as neither Larsen or Sancho and is more of a Silva-type of winger with great touches, vision and skill. It does however seem he can be slightly bullied in more physical encounters why Favre might have opted more for Larsen in their direct duel for the LW spot. Out of the three Pulisic is the one we need the least but he'd still be a great addition.

A very good assessment and my sentiments really.

We'd better off with either of them than with Pulisic. Overhyped.

Hmmm ... I think Dortmund or other German teams rather than Bayern would be better for all these kids.
