By your reasoning a hell of a lot of treads here are pointless. Me I just though it would be nice to see who people would consider or like to see get the job when Klopp leaves

What the real issue is here is that you just do not like that it is I post and that I wrote it...
Now you will come back with something like "No' it is just a stupid post".. Well a gave my reasons, and one of them was that I felt David Wagner would not make whole sale changes to the team, and would be, imo likely to approach Klopp for advice as to how he would get the best out of these group of plays.

Now if you do not agree with it, that's fine. And if you think what I post is stupid, here a novel idea....don't read it

I have a problem with the question - it’s a pointless question right now - it’s like speculating who we should buy after next season, or what our lineup might be in 2 years time - which is grand if we’re having a laugh or taking the piss, but at this point in time there isn’t any other manager I’d have in world football.

It’s just dumb.

That’s before we even get to the Wagner suggestion - that’s beyond dumb.

And the fact that Huddesfield played absolutely nothing like a Klopp team (played waaaay deep) also has something to do with it.
He’s German and Klopp’s mate. That somehow qualifies him as the next Liverpool manager

If we are in a position where we don’t need to make big changes to the team when Klopp goes then I doubt any decent manager would do so for the sake of it.

I think I would rather have a manager who is good enough himself to know how to get the best out of the players. A situation where a manager of a top club is always going back to the former manager for advice doesn’t sound great.

Obviously I have no idea who that could be. Worry about it when the time comes.

The reason why you didn't get a response, was because there are too many variables and no one wants to think of that inevitable day.

But assuming it's at the end of this contract. (Ideal scenario would be to extend)

You'd have to analyse whether to appoint externally, or create a new boot room effect.

Right now for me the choice would be between Pep Ljinders or Steven Gerrard obvious choice. But it depends on how Gerrard does with Villa. So let's revisit this question when its approaching the end of his contract.

Oh.. and never David Wagner.
