Who should replace Firmino?

Really like Neto, he could be the next level

He looks a player, but more of a wide forward than the more deeper link up player to compete with Firm.

I have said before that Havertz is probably the most similar one in style in the league, otherwise I think Jimenez would work well.
Reckon we will look to other leagues though, and that I don't follow so I have no clue.

Haaland and Kane? We’re not gonna spend 150 mill + and 300k a week on wages on a striker this summer.

Iheanacho at Leicester or Pereira at West Brom would be two forwarrds that are very much worth considering from a risk/return perspective. We need to not just strengthen the attack but reshape it somewhat, so I don't think we are necessarily looking at a like for like replacement with Firmino. Ideally it would be someone who can be a more direct threat as Bobby's goal return has dropped to Christan Benteke levels. If Firmino is still our starting no9 next season I think we will struggle, but he's certainly a valuable player to have in the squad.

Could Elliot do it?
I'd actually like to see what he could do there. He's got control, vision, strength and a good shot. Was he young player of the season in the Championship and PotY at Blackburn? He's not going to finish up as a winger because he doesn't have that pace.

I know most will say too young and yes that maybe true but if you are good enough ... youth didn't stop many top stars. As back up to Firmino perhaps (Klopp isn't going to ditch Bobby so people can forget that sell sell sell Championship Manager rhetoric), the club can assess him when he returns.

Yeah, I think it's a great idea to have a midget like Elliott upfront. Would definitely solve the "aerial threat" part.

Does Firmino play 'upfront'? Many are talking about playing a #10, are they also giants ? Is Shaq, who has played the #10 role, not a midget?

TBF on checking they are both 173 cms and Elliott 170 cms and without Owen's pace, but as a number 10 neither height nor pace is the out and out prerogative.
I guess I missunderstood, because I have no problem with Elliott playing in the tip of a midfield triangle, like "little" Luis, but replacing Firmino, who essentially is a striker for us and a "false 10", is a terrible idea

Yeah, Agüero is a midget too, but City don't rely on crosses as much as we do.

Abraham is what, Chelsea's third choice striker? He's probably gonna find himself further down the pecking order since Chelsea love buying players all the time. We should definitely get him

English premium, Chelsea don’t need the money, he’s an arrogant prick - so £50m and massive wages? For a middling player who might improve. Do people really think this is the market we are shopping in this summer?

I don't see him going for more than 25mil which makes him worth a punt

Elliott could potentially be our David Silva.
sadly we dont play like the team in which Silva played.

I guess a similar version and a possible replacement with least adjustment to our current style would be Kane. Otherwise we should target Haaland all the way.

True and spot on with the rest.
If we can't get Kane or Haaland, get someone similar.
However impossible that's going to be...

Both "my" teenage prodigies scored last weekend; for Hlozek (still only 18) it was his 6th goal in his last 5 games and it's a very tidy finish (about 1:15) and then near the end Karabec (still only 17) came on as sub and "assisted" by winning a dodgy penalty and then scored the last goal himself.

Might be worth a try if we’re going to be tight in the summer and replace from within. Imo he’s probably the closest thing to Bobby in the squad.
Yeah, he might be alright for the no.10 stuff on the pitch but, I doubt that he has the scoring instinct in the box.
