We have got them in the FA Cup third round at home.
And for those who are too young to remember the thread title is a reference to an advertisement for I can't remember from a long tie ago

Bring back players getting in a big massive bah after the game and drinking pints bottles of milk.

In fact I want them to switch the lucozade water bottles that sometimes come on the pitch with bottles of milk.

This is a great draw - perfect for sensible heavy rotation without risking the result and a cracking story as well.

This is where we should see Jaros, Quansah, Morton, Nyoni, Danns etc get a run out alongside some of the lesser first team fillers like Tsimikas, Endo, Cheesie (if alive) and Darwin.

Now it can be revealed - I've been quoting unnoticed from that advert for years on here by typing "Zackly" instead of "exactly". 🙂

Quite a few other accents have contributed to the Scouse one. The bit you rightly identify is an import from the Irish accent and that's been a st(h)rong connection over the years. One of my friends at school was Irish and said being a Scouser qualified me for honorary Irish status.
I think that shoudl be s(h)trong as it is the s that is potentially softened, not the t

Liam Coyle (the guy in the middle), Gerrards captain for the u18s is one of the players who will return to Anfield.

With respect, I don't agree with either of you. Adding an "h" to the "s" turns that into a "sh" sound which doesn't belong there - you'd end up sounding like Schteve McClaren. I maintain the "h" belongs with the "t".
Nomad wasn't agreeing with me, he was pointing out my customary typo

I was thinking of the "sh" sound as that is a fairly Irish thing - one of the guys in a yoga class I go to always says he is looking for a good "shtretch".

I find it hard to even try & pronounce an "sth" sound :S
