It's quite strange that I have expunged almost all of Woy's short Liverpool career from my memory, so I don't recall any games or results, apart from one

I recall this because a combination of factors aided my failing memory:
1) I was 100% certain he was getting sacked after this game and had never felt so embarrassed to be a Liverpool fan
2) Wolves were bottom of the fucking table at the time and hadn't beaten us for about 50 years or something
3) They deserved to win
4) Torres played like he had muscular dystrophy
5) I watched it with my brothers, in the bar of a lakeside cabin holiday place that we'd booked for New Year, so it was the day before New Year maybe? Or the day after?
6) Drugs and jaegerbombs.
I honestly can't remember any other games.

Just checked and he didn't actually get sacked after this game! They allowed him to manage one more game, against Blackburn. Who battered us, obviously.
I thought the Blackburn loss would have been the answer (ie him being sacked was utopia) but it was after Crimbo I remember
