Daniel Agger has warned that he will leave Liverpool if he is not receiving regular first-team football.
Injury problems have plagued the Denmark international's Anfield career since joining from Brondby five years ago and was recently the subject of claims that the Reds had offered him to Bundesliga side Wolfsburg - claims which manager Roy Hodgson strenuously denied.
Agger, 26, played 89 minutes of Liverpool's win over Bolton on Saturday - his first start since September last year - but has hinted that his future could lie elsewhere if he continues to be overlooked for a starting place once he regains full fitness.
‘If I’m not playing in the Liverpool team on a regular basis, then I am ready to move on,’ he said.
"I have only just returned from three months out injured, so I am in no position, at the moment, to say I must be in the side for every game.
"But once I have made a few appearances and regained full fitness, I would expect to be starting games. If I’m not playing, I can’t see a reason for staying."
Juventus lead a host of European clubs looking at Agger, who deputised at left-back on several occasions last season, in the hope that a deal can be brokered despite the central defender's previous insistence that he would not leave until his current four-year deal expired.
