This is just a bunch that is horribly suited for West Ham. Sturridge alone would have changed this game completely.

Is Sturridge really even a part of this team? I mean I understand what you're saying but you're talking about a player that has now spent more time not playing than playing. We should have replaced him by this point. He's a luxury we can't afford.

Other than that, who is injured that would really change this? Henderson might be a help but beyond that these are largely our better players. And quite a few players we've paid dearly for that have been found wanting after their arrival.

As I said, this is a consistent pattern with this team so it's got nothing to do with tiredness.

Get what you're saying re: Sturridge.

But the Henderson, Origi, Ings injuries have been a real problem this season.

Can, Lallana, Firmino and Coutinho have played a LOT of football this season without any rest. And half the time, they've been doing it around Benteke who they're not suited to playing with.

It's a bit much to expect them to cope with teams as physical as West Ham and Palace in those circumstances.
