Bendeson ? He was good today when he came on . Before you know it you will be calling him Horrenderson and then you will officially be a fucking cunt .

Hey maaaan, I was listenin' to the game in a bar in downtown New Orleans, an old transistor radio, cracklin commentary. I was downbeat. Losin 2-1. And then I couldn't believe my ear, my heart skipped a beat, Joe Cole had the ball, through on the goal posts. You could feel through the smokey haze of the dark gloomy whiskey house Joe sayin to himself "If I don't do it, nobody else will". And at a glance, he knew this was 'my' chance. 2-2. And then another chance. Did Jonjo score? Did Collins turn the ball into his own net? Sweet confusion under the moonlight in London, England. And then the final whistle blew and we had won. I ordered a bourbon, shuffled to the battered piano in the corner and hammered the keys, my honey voiced tones of Ring Of Fire sweeping through the drinking den.

Such a night.

Do they still allow smoking in bars in america? I thought it had been banned, but maybe that's just in New York.

Plus I don't see how it could've been 'such a night' seeing as it's only early evening even now!

Rock and roll don't conform to rules dude.

Reminds me of a time when I was in Seattle. The Stones were in town so I decided to hook up with Keith. We went to grab a bite to eat at RN74 on 4th Street. Cool place but you have to book in advance man. I ordered a whiskey sour, Keith a lime milk shake. We settle down, about to order some food when Tom (Petty) strolls in. Tom sees us, dudes on over and joins us. The waiter comes over and quietly tells us as we have only booked a table for two and Tom hasn't pre-booked, he has to leave. Tom turns, cool as a dude and staring straight at the guy says "I won't back down". Me , Keith and Tom, all at the same time, give the guy a knowing look and stiffen our coat collars. We ate like kings man.

The league has been like that of late though, no defense is particularly sound. Anyway, we've been away to the Hammers many a time with a better side and not showed half the character and resilience we showed today. Not every game is going to be a dominant performance, the important thing is we bagged a few goals, three points and a couple of players who've been lacking at times looked alot better and hungry for it. That's testament to the manager and our belief and it's incredibly promising for the future.

The melodrama is getting a bit tedious now, "the top half of the league, just". We've got one striker, everyone knew this season was going to be a struggle, so when we do show character like that and win, in what was a difficult game and the type we often slip up in, at least give some credit where it's due. I'm sick of idiots saying we're lucky when we win, the agenda is far too transparent.

Miserable fucker.

so what's my agenda then ? enlighten me .

Giggled when I saw this...

Both goals were uninterrupted passing moves starting from our 18 yard box. 11 and 12 passes respectively.

Thats pretty good tbh.

The rule goes that if the place doesn't serve food you're good to go (from personal experience), but most places could care less. In 7 years, in several states, I've never been in a bar I couldn't smoke.

I know we played poorly, but I enjoyed it overall. Rodgers made the right subs, despite all of us going, "Eh?" and players want to play for him, and don't give up at all. We're not a deep team, hell - we're not even that good of a team, but with the right strengthening in January, we could make a run at 4th. COME ON YOU REDS.

You see i'm not so sure about that tbh.... we played like shit, We equalized out of the blue with a joke player and by then West ham had stopped playing ( primarily due to the departue of Diame) and we got cocky and scored another.

It was a shitty win but...

Maybe just maybe thats what we needed, a shitty win.... it certainly better than an unlucky draw.
