Rodgers hasn't got a clue. Shit substitutions, despite one of them scoring and the other setting up the winner.

Aye, not arf. I was worried about the Cole one though, not so much putting him on but the fact we were struggling physically.

well , the sad reality is that is a much better result than i expected before the game , and especially after 75 mins . But it still doesn't hide the fact that the team is lacking in so many areas and for me not really making that much forward progress . Although i expect Rodgers will bang on about how good a performance that was . anyway on we go and now into the dizzy heights of the top half of the league (just)

Try and look at the positives, and what a young, hungry manager is doing with a team that actually could be doing much better! This is a poor league this year, and we still have a chance to make 'noise' and that's great.

I thought we were shite for most of the game, Diame going off was huge but we showed great resilience to win that. The ref was shocking throughout.

Joe Cole is still shit, he's just earned himself only one insulting comment on his performance after the match by me today. See you next week Joe.

Great result although not entirely deserved. But will take playing shit and winning all day long.

Johnson superb. Again.

Most of the others shite again. Are people still trying to tell me Allens gonna be world class or has that all blown over now like? Disappointing again today. As I said above though, he wasn't alone in that respect.

I know we played poorly, but I enjoyed it overall. Rodgers made the right subs, despite all of us going, "Eh?" and players want to play for him, and don't give up at all. We're not a deep team, hell - we're not even that good of a team, but with the right strengthening in January, we could make a run at 4th. COME ON YOU REDS.

It was a game of 4 quarters - we had the 1st and last and they had the 2nd and 3rd.
We started brightly, scored one and could have scored more.
They came at us midway through the 1st half and simply took the game over scoring 2 (lucky goals).
Their momentum continued into the 2nd half but then about halfway through the 2nd half the wheel has turned agin (Henderson coming in, Diamme injured) and we took control.
Just to show us again how momentum and confidence are crucial factors in football.

Anyone see Rodgers blank the 4th official? He was questioning why there were 5 minutes of added-on time but when the guy started pointing to the number of subs/incidents on the pitch, etc. to explain, Rodgers just ignored him and carried on giving instructions to the team. The funny thing was the 4th official waited for him to finish and wanted to continue the conversation while Rodgers was basically not interested. Thought that was really funny.

Or at least I can see the funny side of it with the result going our way.

Yes, that was hilarious. It was as if no one had ever talked to him before and he was determined not to to waste his chance!

The league has been like that of late though, no defense is particularly sound. Anyway, we've been away to the Hammers many a time with a better side and not showed half the character and resilience we showed today. Not every game is going to be a dominant performance, the important thing is we bagged a few goals, three points and a couple of players who've been lacking at times looked alot better and hungry for it. That's testament to the manager and our belief and it's incredibly promising for the future.

The melodrama is getting a bit tedious now, "the top half of the league, just". We've got one striker, everyone knew this season was going to be a struggle, so when we do show character like that and win, in what was a difficult game and the type we often slip up in, at least give some credit where it's due. I'm sick of idiots saying we're lucky when we win, the agenda is far too transparent.

Miserable fucker.

If Sterling had been in a cartoon, after about 60 minutes his brain would have been shown floating out of his head, putting on a night cap and getting into bed. He's mentally shattered.

Serious question, was gerrard subbed in the second half?

He was completely anonymous

Diame going off changed the game, but it usually wouldn't matter and we would all be sitting here ruing the fact we let one get away... fair play to the lads for going out and taking it today.

And Lee Probert was embarrassing. He officiated the match with one set of rules for us, another for West Ham. It's getting to the point where you really do start to wonder about all the calls that go against us... at what point do they stop being coincidences?

The two Lees - Probert and Mason - are absolute shite and never give us anything. A couple of whoppers.
