Weekends other games

He basically said Shaw was at the side in front of him and he shouted instructions for him to move infield move outfield to press or to attack/defend. That is why he had a good game.

Great way to provide a confidence booster for Shaw eh?

He's a massive, hateful cunt obviously, but his constant sniping and abuse is both amusing and also quite honest at times..

He seems genuinely fucked off that quite a few of his players are living the lifestyles of the millionaire playboys that football allows, without actually producing the requisite level of performance. The younger players (Lingard, Rashford etc) seem to be given additional protection and praise because of the fabled Manchester United academy, and reputation for bringing through young players (largely based around that golden Giggs/ Neville/ Scholes/ Beckham era), and he's like "Yeah, but they're not as fucking good as that lot", and perhaps aren't showing the desire and commitment required either.

When he arrived at Chelsea there was two young players in Terry and Lampard already there, and he trusted them because they were brilliant footballers, but also worked like fucking mad to ensure they were as good as they could possibly be, and proved it every week. He's probably looking around the United squad and wondering what the fucking fuss is all about.

So, what result do we want in the Chelsea v City game? 27 years of not winning the league means I'm not giving up on winning this cunting thing yet; a City win tonight and we beat Bournemouth and then we're "only" 7 points off top. I know it's futile but Chelsea could implode and we just can't give up yet.

I suppose there's no bad result for us in this game because a Chelsea win or draw (if we also prevail) will consolidate our top 4 position

Yeah, but City are too dangerous, so I think I'd be happy with the usual wish list: a draw, loads of injuries and a massive fight on the pitch and also the respective benches.

Yep, I'm torn. Chelsea only need what 5 wins from 9 games to guarantee to finish ahead of us, and that's if we win ALL our 8 games ourselves.

Realistically they could slip up against who?
City tonight, Bournemouth away Saturday, Utd away and Everton away - That's about it.
West Brom away is usually a tricky tie, but with nothing to play for at that point other than pride I can't see them dropping there.
Home games against Southampton, Watford and Sunderland should be consider bankers, while Middlesbrough could pose a minor challenge if they still have something to fight for.

I just don't see them dropping all those points, while we go on a further 8 game winning streak to finish with 11 wins and a draw.

It ain't happening for me.

Spurs squeak it. 2 goals in 3 minutes. Fabianski refused to go off. Concentration obviously lost from that. Bastards

Give over with the whole winning the league malarky...we will never win it.
