FFS Mitrovic goal ruled offside.

Beautiful football, from Chambers and Babel, to Schurlle with the volley

Chambers is playing out his skin here, backheel to Babel in the box who just can't score today.

Fulham are a good attacking team as we've seen this season. Their issues are at the back and with their best attacking players missing Spurs may not be able to take advantage.

Seeing Babel playing so well for Fulham must give Lazar Markovic great belief that he might get a game for Oldham reserves one day, if he just keeps working at his current rate.

Clear your fucking lines you fucking mess.

Professional footballers and you fresh air a clearance, duck off.

Rose hits the bar

Fulham not offered a threat since Babel came off

Spurs scored in the last minute! City score with a deflection and another whilst offside. The top three are just so lucky!!!!

The fuck was that Fulham keeper doing for Spurs winner?

Just step 2 yards off your line and claim it you daft prick!

Think we have had more goalie mistakes in our favour than these. They will not catch us anyway so maybe good to have them on their toes till they face City.

Just a snippet or two from our under23s game v WBA (drew 1-1):

Curtis Jones crocked - knee problem, not sure how serious it is, maybe a week or two out.

Adam Lewis, our reserve LB - he's class. He played one half at LB, then played right wing in second half. Best player in both positions.

The keeper, Shamal George - remember the name: this guy is seriously promising. Best young keeper I've see for a long time.

Lazar Markovic: we should just cancel his contract, the guy is a disgrace. You'd never know he was the senior pro out there. He could not care less.

I like Lewis every time I see him.
Surprised he hasn’t been given a chance yet.

Nobody was hurt expecting city to drop points let's be real , us being palace maintaining the gap is bigger than anyone thinks though !

I don’t expect them to come close to dropping points until the CL and FA Cup q/f stage.

If we can maintain 4 pts til then we have a real chance. Big ask though with games away to Everton and Utd

I'm really looking forward to United away. That's going to be a cracking game – they won't sit back like 90% of teams do against us, it's going to be breathless end-to-end stuff with their players and crowd desperate to stop our momentum. Winning there in these circumstances would be so, so sweet.

Nope. Not looking forward to that at all. Will be awful. Much more enjoyment beating the piss out of them recently while they offer nothing in attack.

Awful was playing Mourinho sides, sucking the life out of games and always taking at least 2 points off us until his last game in charge. Against Solskjaer's side it's going to be like Barcelona playing in Madrid – both teams will be forced to attack to please their fans and it's going to be a great spectacle. Both teams have a lot of attacking talent, but they don't have Van Dijk.

A tale of two Dutchmen:

Ryan:

"There were a lot of things that bothered me, that were written about me, like my mentality was not supposed to be good. I was young and I did a lot of things besides football, whether it was being involved a little with music.

Then they took that part way out of proportion, that I was being more busy with music than with football. Of course not.

"I wanted to develop well and – as they promised me back then before I joined – just to be given the guidance I needed to become a better player. That didn’t happen and for a lot of different reasons I didn’t fulfil my potential I guess.”

Virgil:

“Kenny Dalglish gave me his mobile number in the very beginning and told me to ring him at any time.

“It is unbelievable when he sometimes sends me messages before games. That is what Liverpool is about.

“Like most clubs, Liverpool have some private boxes for players available. I have my own box for my family here. To get there, you have to walk through the boardroom.

“On matchdays, that is like walking in a museum. Almost every Liverpool legend is present. I just love to hear all the stories from the guys who used to play for this magical club.

“When you have meant something to this club, they will never forget you. You are Liverpool for ever.”

That’s superb thanks for sharing.

Surely Captain next season.

I think they will like they did against Spurs.

If they attack we’ll batter them.

Would be a huge statement to shatter the illusion of their resurgence by thumping them

Yes - this is going to be a good time to play United again. We showed that we can beat Jose's bus parking side last month and now we get the chance to take on Ole's revolution. Whilst I don't want them to keep winning, it would be super sweet if we were the ones to break their run.
