Playing devil's advocate, Klopp just moved Salah, after he scored an insane 44 goals in a season I to a different position this season, & was vilified by many.

Now we have a Salah who is a much more rounded player & is capable of playing not only as a winger/forward, but as a central striker & even as a number 10 (against Brighton he had that five minute spell where he was everywhere & created absolute chaos in the process).

Sometimes managers can move brilliant players into other positions & get more out of them or add more to the side in the process.

It doesn't look likely that's what is happening with Sarri, more like he's trying to be too clever for his own good, but like I said, Devils advocate.

Sarri has been playing Hazard up front and Kante as a number 10. I think he needs to worry about the utter tactical mess he's made before he blames the players. Two of the best in the world in their positions, not in their positions.

Actually, nobody tell him that. It's ace that they're shit.
Haha! I was thinking that. He's a clueless bellend. They got schooled tactically by a shit Gooners team.

Klopp's a brilliant man-manager generally though and can get players on board with his ideas. Plus we have players who don't think they know better than the manager like that lot at Chelsea.

Huddlesfield XI: Lossl Smith Schindler Kongolo Hogg Bacuna Puncheon Kachunga Diakhaby Mbenza

City XI: Ederson Walker Otamendi Laporte Danilo Fernandinho De Bruyne Gundogan Sterling Sane Aguero

Bernardo, Silva and Jesus all on the bench, Mahrez & Kompany not even involved.

I watched the motd Chelsea game and was shocked how poor Chelsea were v a poor arsenal side.
Sarri admitting the players are not hungry and it's tough was also good news. Hazard is off on the summer. I'd like Willian and kante in our squad

Would've taken Willian few seasons back, not now.

Kante and Rudiger

Jammy jammy bastards ... lucky deflection for the goal, and prior to that Raheem diving all over the place trying to con the ref, and not even a card for it.

The FA have it in for us

Also, I saw a photo earlier of Andre Mariner coaching an U11 side with Raheem in it - its a conspiracy I tell ya

I think he's the most gifted long range passer of a ball I've ever seen, and I'll be gutted when he goes to Man City.

EDIT: of course he'd suit us. Dropping bombs in front of our front three, over the top of Henderson and Gini, the pong twins.
Yeah I said this last season. I'd absolutely love him at Anfield.

Just a snippet or two from our under23s game v WBA (drew 1-1):

Curtis Jones crocked - knee problem, not sure how serious it is, maybe a week or two out.

Adam Lewis, our reserve LB - he's class. He played one half at LB, then played right wing in second half. Best player in both positions.

The keeper, Shamal George - remember the name: this guy is seriously promising. Best young keeper I've see for a long time.

Lazar Markovic: we should just cancel his contract, the guy is a disgrace. You'd never know he was the senior pro out there. He could not care less.

Nobody was hurt expecting city to drop points let's be real , us being palace maintaining the gap is bigger than anyone thinks though !

Fulham XI: Rico Christie Odoi Ream Le Marchand Chambers Bryan Seri Schurrle Babel Mitrovic

Spurs XI: Lloris Trippier Sanchez Alderweireld Vertonghen Rose Winks Alli Lamela Eriksen Llorente

Babel to score! Putting a bet on it!

A tale of two Dutchmen:

Ryan:

"There were a lot of things that bothered me, that were written about me, like my mentality was not supposed to be good. I was young and I did a lot of things besides football, whether it was being involved a little with music.

Then they took that part way out of proportion, that I was being more busy with music than with football. Of course not.

"I wanted to develop well and – as they promised me back then before I joined – just to be given the guidance I needed to become a better player. That didn’t happen and for a lot of different reasons I didn’t fulfil my potential I guess.”

Virgil:

“Kenny Dalglish gave me his mobile number in the very beginning and told me to ring him at any time.

“It is unbelievable when he sometimes sends me messages before games. That is what Liverpool is about.

“Like most clubs, Liverpool have some private boxes for players available. I have my own box for my family here. To get there, you have to walk through the boardroom.

“On matchdays, that is like walking in a museum. Almost every Liverpool legend is present. I just love to hear all the stories from the guys who used to play for this magical club.

“When you have meant something to this club, they will never forget you. You are Liverpool for ever.”
