David Pleat's summarising on the radio for the ManUre game and those pesky foreign names are still bamboozling the poor dolt. "Kagagwa" was his version of their Japanese player and he gave up altogether on Januzaj. 😀

He's actually of Polish Jewish origin, so goodness knows what he'd have made of whatever the original version of his surname is.

Last I checked Suso's Almeria were 1-0 up.

I watched a bit of that before our game - ugh. Do you actually sit through their games for 90 mins Modo? It's pretty dire stuff.

Yes he's shown some moments of brilliance but on the whole he hasn't been great.
 
Oh and that Dossena tackle was fucking horrendous. Cattermole was actually a little unlucky imo.
 
The ref was shocking. Lukaku got booked for catching the keeper with his knee when the keeper bravely dived at his feet. If he'd tried to avoid the keeper he would probably have been booked for diving.
 
Cardiff v Swansea. A real test for dear old Shelvey - if he's not matured he's a cert for a red card!
 
How the hell was there 8 mins injury time played at Goodison ? I was pleading with the Live Score to register FT !
 
So it's a cheap lesson for us. We missed the chance to go top, but we remain joint second - let's see some mental dexterity now from the boys to renew a push for first
 
Kevin Friend is simply a joke of a referee. If he thought Lukaku merited a card it had to be red, unless a knee in the face is just a yellow these days. If he thought it was an accident, which it was, why give him a card? If he saw Soldado's elbow in the chest on Jagielka it was a card. If he didn't see it why talk to him, but not card him? It's supposed to be an 'elite' group of referees but the words 'elite', 'Kevin' and 'Friend' simply don't go together
