We should buy Baines and have a fully scouse back four.

Flan-Kelly-Carra-Baines.

That would rock. With Spearing and Gerrard in front of them.

I'd withdraw my previous statements about feeling more and more disenfranchised by the franchise.

Has there ever been a fucking boss scouse forward?
Well, there was this lad from Toxteth....

Jeebus. Fowler... And I know Rush was from Rhyl but he's a scouser. And I know Owen is all Cheshire set but his family are.

Fuckin hell Fowler. Soz i got twatted last night. I mean in recent years like and who did the bastards play for? Are their any decent scouser strikers knocking about now? Just to fil up a scouse fc footie team. Need rules. You can be like rush or owen and not scouse but boss an from sort of near about but Owen isn't allowed in because he's a fag bellend. Rush is allowed to be called scouse because he's a ugly and sound.

Have we had a scouse keeper ever play for the first team?
ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo question

Scouse Goalkeeper? I doubt it, none spring to mind anyway. I can't remember the name of the guy who was understudy to Clemence and I don't think he ever got a first team start (Clemence never got injured) but he may have been Scouse.

I can't remember his name but I'll check my scrapbooks when I get home - his name is at the tip of my tongue it was a shortish surname 5 or 6 letters, he had black hair and trimmed black beard.

Maybe JJ, Portly or Vlad might know and also know whether he was Scouse (he was definitely English) and whether or not he did make a first team appearance.

Tony Warner was a scouser on our books... Never played for us but went to Millwall and played for years for them. I recall he went to Celtic for a bit too. He's probably still playing but doubt he's quite up to scratch.

He did okay at Fulham for a short spell.

Didn't the players call him 'Bonus'. He'd sit on the bench every week, never play and pick up a clean sheet bonus for his troubles.

Rushie's from Flint.
I thought it was St Asaph. Which I recall being next to Rhyl. Either way, he sounds very scouse.

Edit: Woohoo, the old memory clicked into life...................Frankie Lane was his name. I've googled him and he was born in Wallasey and made one league appearance in his 4 years as Clem's understudy.

So not Scouse but a wool?

It's a bit funny.

The missus has a colleague from the Wirral and he doesnt like it when people say he's from Liverpool.

He doesnt like football either.

He's actually a great guy, but I havent a clue what to say to him sometimes.

If you speak like a Scouser, you're a scouser. End of.
Wrong.

This is the type of thing that confuses me... Is wallassey not scouse?
No way. They're well woolly.

Isn't that how everyone in England except Liverpudlians see it.

So to get it clear in my mind (and sorry for the example I'm about to give), what would be the manchester equivalent of wallassey compared to liverpool? And oldham/bury/stockport type thing?
