Rabiot looked like the player we all hoped Can would/will turn into.
It seems like it has taken him a few seasons to get there
I mentioned last year I think how I wish we'd sign him - that he just looks like he's going to be a star.

Also todays performance by Andre Gomez (Barca paid close to 40 million for him, I think) reminded me of another post by rurik on avoiding Portuguese players or players from that league being overpriced.
Although to be fair to Gomes, they bought him from Valencia! But yes, Rurik is spot on ... Stay the fuck away from Portuguese players ...

Barcelona have made a lot of average signings in recent years and it's starting to show.
The other issue is that the star power of the front three is so big that it's hard to really develop any depth for when you want to change things.
They went with Alcacer but what they really need is a couple of players that can play out wide rather than another striker. Neymar and Messi could play up front if need be.

I think it's more Iniesta than Busquets ... How on earth is Rakitic not starting ?
Busquets was horrendous last night. But yeah its probably more on Iniesta. Their midfield have gotten loads of flack all season.

That Verratti-lad is exactly the type of player you'd want in your team. Any team. So much heart and talent in abundance.

Well that's one way of looking at it. Personally I think more involvement for our top 4 rivals would be better for our prospects. Seems they fell to shit when Koscielny went off.
