The only thing worse than the phone nonsense, is some cunt getting their IPAD out at gig..

I was watching Glastonbury year before last, Nile Rodgers.. There were tons of cunts doing the exact same thing.. Invited on the stage, instead of living the moment, half the cunts got their IPAD out to film the moment, so engrossed with filming it, they probably forgot were they where

Yeah, I get that. But I think perhaps the perceived need for confirmation is increased?

Remember that lad at school? He stayed up til 3am last night to watch a horror double bill. His Dad knows Kenny Dalglish. He's been in a helicopter and has a special one-off Gold Panini Liverpool sticker that he says he'll bring into school and always "forgets" it? That cunt.

I think social media and tech has increased the number of people like him a hundredfold.

Much easier to lie and make shit up from your Instagram or Snapchat account. Nick photos. Pose next to other peoples' cars. And the opportunity to show-off and preen is increased due to the ease of doing so. You can live an entirely pretend life.

The selfie is the stamp of authenticity. This is where I was, this is what I look like.

WHY you need that validation is more your point, and I can't fucking answer that.

Ah, I get that now. It's about what's next to you or behind you, not about your mug that's covering more than half of the photo. I hate people even more now

What a bunch of Stan Ogdens y'all are. Jaysis - any more complaining and you'd be a Sunderland fan

Is it any wonder the atmosphere was shite?
The lad to the left of the girl with the wooly hat looks like that gay barman off Corrie (so the wife tells me). Ergo they are all Utd supporters.

Did you all catch what Jose said about Rashford in the post-match express interview (not the press-conference)? Basically that he was thinking of going for the win by moving Rashford to the middle to play off Ibra, but just at that moment Rashford got a cramp and had to be subbed so "I thought, oh well, it's going to be a draw."
Actually what he said was along the lines of ..... "I'd rather settle for a draw than lose" ! Hence the Rooney sub.

Ha really?

I got a drink when I first came in but didn't leave my seat after that til the game was over.

Was sitting in the front bar facing out towards parliament with a group of 8 people sitting around a couple of high tables.

Fantastic that you are open that early for a game. Was good fun watching it there.
ONE drink in TWO hours in a prime seat ?! Bet it was water too. Stevie .. ban him !

These post match comments that we are not the eight Wonder of the world, only in the press, coming from the buschaufeur... Is that the feeling in UK nowadays? Has Klopp already annoyed him more than Pep?

It was very revealing, because actually the media has tended to under-appreciate us. I saw a few hacks on TV talking about the best teams to watch this season, and they listed Arsenal, City and...Spurs. No mention of us. And when we have been mentioned there's been a brief acknowledgement of our attacking before focusing on our defensive failings. So Maureen must have been really niggled by the popularity of Klopp.
