That's a lot of pound for Di Maria, I'm still unsure if he's exactly what they need, unfortunately it makes United stronger, so it's not a good thing.
It is compared to what they could have spent it on.
Very good IMO.

This is the feeling amongst United fans :
I watched a game in the WC where Di Maria played and he was fucking woeful. More learned souls on here will probably tell me otherwise but £60mill for him??? Ha ha! At least he's someone I have heard of so that is something I suppose. Seems awfully pricey though. I wonder what @ChastenedMUFC thinks of this?
How do they line up then? 3-5-2 and waste Di Maria or 4-3-3 and waste Rojo, and two of Mata, RVP, and Rooney?
LOL it'll be funny watching this all go tits up.
Di Maria can play in the midfield three as he did for Real last season.

If he persists with wing backs, then they will be sliced apart down the middle. Who there is going to track back?So Herrera, Mata, and Di Maria.
Looks a bit cavalier to me that.
Wiz he was brilliant in the three. Really really good. He got rave reviews thereYou watched more of that than me, Keni but I didn't really think he was effective there. He did damage when he moved out to the left during matches - otherwise they seemed to have his number.
Even if they paid the stupid money for hummels or vidal, it would make sense because at least they are what they needThere's no getting away from it, there's no way of squeezing their big players into one formation. They're going to have at least 2 great attacking players on the bench every game, which is fine in itself, but not when you've got dross actually starting in other areas of the pitch.
It's just a simple waste of resources.

Either way, a dominant CM is what they needThe comparison I would personally make is Pogba. Quoted at that same price, exactly what they need, absolutely brilliant player (better than Di Maria IMO) and just 21 years old.

Now the bellend has gone, who knowsAnd the best of it is there's no way under The Lying Rag that he'll ever go back there.
Sneijder's wife just nominated LvG for the ice bucket challenge by the way. She is lovely.
Di Maria for 63 mil? is this a PL record buy?
