Realistically there are likely only 2 teams in it again this year and possibly only CFC or MUFC could join us in the foreseeable future (Spurs will likely lose their top players and manager soon, if not this season). If you are not into gambling on the next few seasons then that just leaves us and City .. and neither club would want him with his demands. Bale is about 5 years younger than Ronaldo, hes far too young to be considered a spent force, unless hes been physically broken to the point he will never regain his peak fitness.
