Transfer Rumours 21/22

Look... as opposed to a year ago... we don’t need any more feckin’ centrebacks - we have

In 4 weeks time when we’re relying on 84 year old James Milner, Curtis Jones and Minamino... we’ll be feeling it.
We've got more midfielders than we do Centre backs. Kabak on a free would allow us to raise funds off Nat.

& how does Milner get younger as we all get older? He was 92 years old last season.

Yes... but out midfielders are even more injury prone than our CB’s

Yes, that might be a stretch. Wasn't Burnley sniffing around Nat?

Me, I would rather move Matip as he is injured a lot.

We’d all rather move on Matip - but what sort of idiot would pay a fee to sign him on the wages he’s currently on given everyone knows he’s broken.

He’s gotten released on a free at the end of his contract written all over him.

Nat... yes - in theory we could sell... but then we’d need to sell another overseas player to register Kabak next season.

As things stand - signing Kabak represents signing a player we don’t need... just for shits and giggles.

Fabizio Romano has said LFC and Man U are keeping tabs on Niguez (at this stage), with Man U they concentrating on selling before buying again

Ah, overseas debacle as well. That complicates matters.

I fucking hated that prick. Remember that game when, for once, he wasn't an invisible shithouse, and he managed to score a goal, only to fucking prance around shushing the Anfield fans? Absolute shitcunt bellend that makes every single worst Liverpool XI ever.

Remember when he played left back.

I wonder if the later we go into the window the more we will favour players with some Premier League experience under their belt. Bringing in a player from abroad when the season is already underway, with no pre-season at the club is certainly less appealing, especially to a manager like Klopp who grants a far longer adaption period than most managers.

I suppose the point is a player like Odegard might be prioritised over Aouer the later we get into the window.

This is me being optimistic and thinking our summer business isn't already finished.

When a player's on high wages and his club wants rid there's usually a deal to be done where the selling club pays a proportion of the wage for the remainder of his unexpired contract with them, or else they pay him a lump sum to do one.
That's often why you see these kinds of players signing short-term contracts with their new club - the new club doesn't want to commit to paying the higher wages over an extended contract, but will pay him what they think he's worth for a few years with the selling club making up the difference. If the player does well at his new club then they can obviously talk about extending the deal / matching the terms over a longer period.
Don't believe any of this bollocks you sometimes read about a player "accepting a pay cut" to move to a new club. His old club will almost certainly be making up the difference.

My mate is Paul Beasley's cousin - the definition of journeyman footballer. He signed from someone shit to Leeds when that tit Ridsdale was in charge and got a ridiculous contract, hardly ever played, then got sold to Man City (pre sheikh money, div 2) and Leeds were paying half his wages. He was shit at Man City too and they offloaded him to Port Vale, with city paying half of half his wages. So he was on like 50k a week with Leeds paying 25, City 12.5 and Port Vale paying 12.5.

Good work if you can get it.

Choice of Downing Markovic Borini or El Zhar Hal? Who you picking.
