Frankly, if Tielemans is available for 20 million, it's very surprising why we're not in for him. Tielemans isn't perfect, but he has some very good qualities, the best of them being that he has an excellent injury record. 400+ career appearances at the young age of 25 - this guy rarely misses games, and can carry a huge physical workload. That's exactly what we need.

He also has this other condition where he simply doesn't run. Most Leicester fans don't want to see him start and don't care if he's sold. Probably the worst fit for a Klopp midfield imaginable

Without disagreeing with some of the things said about Casemiro above, he's a mahoosive upgrade on Fred and/or McTominay in the centre of their midfield and they'll have to expect to be overcharged for players at the minute because everyone knows how desperate they are. I can see some sense in the move TBH.

There is also the suck it up and start the proper rebuild with youth and a couple of signings, shipping the expensive underperformers/poison dwarves (which they are trying to do).

Yes its desperate, but there is something to this, as someone on social media pointed out, Cassy I understand has experience playing with Freddy for the national team. So short term it will work out, but what I don't want is for this signing to be approved before our game, coz he will join and start and have a worldy, and also use it as an opportunity to stake/confirm his place in the national teams starting line-up over his main rival which is our Fab boy.
