Are there any legit links for the Jan window?
Hahaha, sorry I just couldn't stop myself from laughing.
Maybe, just maybe we might sign some obscure Championship player on the last day of the window and never play him.

In other news we just gave away one of our reserves, Tony Gallagher, to some team in Scotland.

I have a feeling Gallagher was too old to be classified a youth and didn’t meet the criteria for homegrown, while being about 6th choice LB.

St Johnstone wouldn’t be able to afford much of a few.

Juve, Newcastle, PSG, Man Utd. There's plenty of idiotic teams out there who'd easily sign him up.
Juve are nowhere near that bracket. Ditto Newcastle who will step lightly into the pit. United have been burned by Pogba, I actually can't see Dembele being a step up on anyone in their first team, he & they are all crap. PSG could be the only ones but they don't need him.

I think he's fucked himself but we'll soon see if there's a numpty MD in one of those camps !

You're kidding right?

Aaron Ramsey on a free being paid £400k a week, they signed Can on a free paying him stupid money, Rabiot on a free again being paid stupid money per week and these three they've got rid of or trying to get them off the wage bill. Not to forget signing Ronaldo and paying him stupid money too when he was 33. Trust me Juve have form at being idiots with money spent in transfers.

Newcastle: Michael Owen, Joelinton, Albert Luque, Remy Carbella, Florian Thauvin...

should I go on?

They did all that to win the CL.

Doesn't matter. You wouldn't say Ramsey, Rabiot or Can are going to win them a champions League no matter how much money you threw at them.
I should have added a "LOL" after what I wrote. I think it's laughable. All that investment for nothing.

Well exactly. Juve have indeed been idiots but aren't they close to another Barca situation? They need to reduce the wage bill pronto. I can't see how they will be signing anyone on £400k a week at this stage of the game.

Not sure what your point is with Newcastle? Players before FFP? I think they've even said themselves not to expect to see massive transfer fees (£400k pw comes under that heading, transfer fee or no transfer fee. £400k x 52 x 4 = £83m before we even start talking about bonuses, agents fees and a signing on fee.

Juve have got rid of Ronaldo from the payroll. They'll be stupid enough to offer Dembele a contract because he isn't costing them a transfer fee.

Point about Newcastle is that they're fallible for making stupid signings too. They're desperate for new players and to stay up in the league the previous owner ran a tight ship and the Saudis will definitely be looking to make a marquee signing.

Think you're right on this one, Juve don't seem to be learning. Free transfers and big wages are only a good idea if the player involved is top draw and guaranteed to get the job done. If you're taking a punt on the likes of Dembele (seriously, what do people see in this guy, I just don't get it), Ramsey, Rabiot or Can then there's a good chance you'll end up paying them to leave when they don't work out, so you might as well have shelled out a transfer fee and been able to pick from a wider range of players, than pick from the relatively small group of free transfers and hope it works out.

Gallacher to St Johnstone - 2 and a half year deal.
Boyes to Livingston - 18 month deal with a further year option.

That should give us about.... 60k

Tom Werner has about 1/5 of John Henry's wealth, so I'm guessing his 20 year old younger wife is about 1/5 the stunner of Linda.

Going by the old man, wealth and younger wife ratio.

Yeah, interesting in the way being hung, drawn and quartered is interesting. We're gonna sell Salah and buy nobody for 4 years.
