Transfer Rumours 21/22

Yeah, he was never getting a look in given his past with Rafa & he obviously could careless about the Ev...probably doesn't know they're playing tonight.

Some interesting names in there, would be great to see Pogba leave United on a free, same with Rudiger back to Germany too.

France striker Anthony Martial will be free to leave Manchester United in the January transfer window. The 25-year-old is open to staying in the Premier League but could explore opportunities on the continent, with Barcelona a possible destination. (Eurosport)

Utd would look to get 40-50m for Martial wouldn't they, how would Barca afford that?

Think he'll go back to Monaco personally.

With the right manager, hed be fantastic.
I'd take him.

I'm not sure, Wizzy. He's very talented and when he first appeared on the scene I thought he might be a potential galactico, but I now wonder whether he has the discipline and persistence to make the best of himself. A decent manager can build on what he's got, but no manager can make him grow up.

Arsenal... He would want regular starts and Arsenal will offer him that
There are a few clubs.

BVB potentially once Haaland goes, Maybe Milan depending what Zlatan does next summer.

But I reckon he'll end up back at 1 of his old clubs, Lyon or Monaco.

I don't think dortmund will go for him. Think they've probably already got their claws in to some shit hot youth player who we won't hear about until february.

One of the pundits once described him as “the kind of player who gets his managers sacked”, and I think that’s a perfect way to put it. Obvious quality and potential coupled with maddening inconsistency always leads to questions whether the manager or the tactical set-up is getting enough out of him - but he’s had 3 different managers at United (I think) who were all unable to change his patterns, so at some point you just have to point finger of blame at the player himself. A talented player who performs sporadically when he feels like it is worse than useless - it’s the kind of player who gets his manager sacked.

Is that fair? He did really well with Van Gaal and has struggled under Mourinho (his track record with young talented players isn't that great) and Ole ...

I could imagine he could have a similar career to Depay, heading to a club with the stature of Lyon (see also Napoli, Sevilla) and become prolific enough to end up at a bigger side in 2 years

I think he had decent patches under all 3 managers, even Mourinho… But in the end it’s always the same with him, he’s a puzzle without a solution (unless he matures and “solves” himself first). Don’t think Klopp would go for him.

He's a proper moody cunt. Pogba always gets stick for being lazy and not arsed but Martial is far worse at that and less talented as well. Can see him going back to France and doing well tho

He is French, resting bitch face syndrome is very common in France.
Zidane, Cantona, Dembele, and Griezmann all have it. However, all are of incredible talent Dembele is very talented, his contract is up at the end of the year. I wonder if any top club will consider him, his attitude stinks, and he is constantly injured

We should keep an eye on that Korean forward now on loan at Wolves. Hwang.
He was very good when I saw him in the Champions League a year or two ago, was perhaps against us?

He seems like someone who could play the Firmino role well. Hard-working, intelligent and skillful forward, with good creativity.

Liverpool could yet move for West Ham's 24-year-old English forward Jarrod Bowen. They were linked with a £20m bid in the summer window. (Liverpool Echo)

Liverpool have also joined the race to sign Haaland as Borussia Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke admits it will be difficult to keep hold of the frontman next summer. (Mundo Deportivo, via Mail)

Real Madrid's Spanish midfielder Marco Asensio, 25, is also among Liverpool's targets. (Fichajes.Net,

Dembele is as useful as Kieta, because just like Kieta he is constantly injured

Saw somewhere that Real Madrid are after Trent for next season.

When will Real Madrid understand that English players, especially from Liverpool, aren't like South Americans?
Except Macca.
Oops, almost forgot Owen.

Abraham or Origi...? Abraham or Origi...? excellent young player and still improving way a head of Origi would make a wonderful addsion to the team. Take him in a heart beat. For me a Salah/KDB type, in that Chelsea let him go and he will come back to haunt them

What do you think about that Palace player Gallagher who's on loan from Chelsea?

I mean if we're really looking for English players, I think he could be an option if he carries on being as influential as he currently is for Palace.
