I am anti pizza ovens, on account of them not being manly enough, and ambivalent to GAA .. I even forgot the semi final was on yesterday. Just seen Tyrone battered Kerry which I guess is positive as my missus is from Tyrone, and my boss is from Mayo, so it will be interesting to see them lose to someone other than Dublin in the final.

My complaint was aimed more at your antagonist than yourself .. this time

This forum has always been full of aggressive and off tone banter but I feel it's actually gotten mean recently, with a division and shift in tone coming from disagreements in the general forum related to politics and COVID.

I'm not a fan tbh.

Yep. This place is really important to me as the corner of the web I can let loose a little more than elsewhere. But it's not been much of a fun place recently. I was hoping the start of the season would bring a bit of joy and camaraderie back but I not seeing it.

So...the Swedes in the NHL suck donkey balls nowadays. Fucking Finns just producing talent after talent. Overtaken us in the North Internationally, I think.

Hopefully this time, injuries don't screw the Stars ... but we can talk about this in the Other Sports forum!

All good. I don’t actually own one just a big ass BBQ which is a requirement to become a citizen down here.
I’d actually like to see Mayo win one finally but think Tyrone will have their number.
I’m currently trying to calm extended family down on the closure of a Bog 😀 maybe pizza ovens aren’t the least entertaining conversation after all

100%. I cop more than my fair share and generally don’t give a shit. I don’t like to see it done to others constantly though. The greyness of my facial hair is the big eye opener these days!

It’s always been there from certain posters but they often pull their heads in, leave or get banned. We don’t have many people left so banning is a last resort. Familiarity breaths contempt, and many on here have been listening to the same views for over 10 years!
