Transfer window shutting times

Although most European leagues have their deadline day today, not all of them close at the same time.

Germany - closes 5pm.
Italy - 7pm.
France - 10pm.
England - 11pm.
Spain - 11pm.
Scotland - 12am.

Bayern chasing two Premier League deals

Bayern Munich are pushing to sign Fulham midfielder Joao Palhinha and Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah on Deadline Day.

Bayern are selling Ryan Gravenberch to Liverpool for around £35million and want Palhinha as a replacement. Fulham are reluctant to sell and rejected a £45m bid from West Ham earlier in the summer, meaning Bayern will have to pay big to land the Portugal international.

Meanwhile, they want Chalobah to replace Benjamin Pavard, who left for Inter Milan. Bayern are in talks with Chelsea over a loan deal for the 24-year-old defender.

ORIGI COMING BACK THE PREM

FOREST OR BURNLEY

Three-way race for Origi

Burnley, Fulham and Nottingham Forest are all interested in signing Divock Origi from AC Milan, reports Sky Sports.

Origi has been made available for a move by Milan just a year after leaving Liverpool for Serie A. The 28-year-old signed a four-year contract last July but could be re-joining the Premier League already.

Tottenham confident over Johnson

Tottenham want to complete a £40million-plus deal for Nottingham Forest forward Brennan Johnson - but it could yet depend on outgoing deals.

There is a growing belief that Spurs can complete a deadline day move for the Wales international who would bolster their attacking options.

But Tottenham do have a bloated squad and will also be conscious of their wage bill and squad numbers.

Sergio Reguilon and Japhet Tanganga are set to go big there could yet be midfield departure.

BREAKING: Man Utd sign goalkeeper

Manchester United have completed the signing of Fenerbahce goalkeeper Altay Bayindir for a fee of £4.3million.

The 25-year-old has signed with United until June 2027 and replaces Dean Henderson, who left for Crystal Palace in a £20million deal.

“It’s is a huge honour to join Manchester United and become the first Turkish player to represent this incredible club,” he said.

“I have a passion for success, and I will give everything to help this special group of players to achieve our ambitions. I cannot wait to start working with such an experienced goalkeeping unit.”

Wait wait wait....so we let him go for free, Milan sign him and they'll now make a profit on him. Wow

Palmer confirmed to Chelsea for 40m

I don't know why either. Can't imagine it would be home grown issue

Brennan Johnson is primarily right sided isn’t he? Very fast and homegrown too.. just saying.
Brennan Johnson is one of those players that are good but you kinda know that he isn't THAT good.
It's a bit like Kieran Dyer, Lee Bowyer, Ruel Fox, Pennant, Townsend, Downing etc.
They'll do a good job, but they're not taking you to the promised land.

Let's not get too fixated on age.

Sounds like the kind of player you’ll get right behind 😀

Could be a ready made pacifier should the worst happen with Mo. I’m taking that quote someone pasted from Klopp earlier to mean we’re working on incomings but nothing certain and almost certainly no Mo exit.

I mean, if he fits the bill...

DONE DEAL: Forest sign Tavares

Nottingham Forest have signed Arsenal defender Nuno Tavares on loan, with the option to buy.
The 23-year-old full-back spent last season on loan with Marseille and has now moved again.
He said: "I'm really happy to be here. Forest is an historic club which won two European Cups and to be part of it makes me really happy.
"I'm really happy to stay in the Premier League as it's the best league in the world and I'm thankful to Forest for giving me that opportunity."

DONE DEAL: Wolves land Doyle

Wolves have signed Tommy Doyle from Manchester City on a season-long loan deal with a £5million option to make it permanent.
The 21-year-old joins after a successful loan spell at Sheffield United - and moves in the opposite direction to Matheus Nunes.

Where do they get their money from!?

Forest signing Hudson-Odoi

Nottingham Forest are poised to sign Callum Hudson-Odoi from Chelsea.
The winger spent last season on loan with Bayer Leverkusen and is undergoing a medical with Forest this morning. An £8million fee has been mooted.

Romano's "Here we go" is up there with Martin Tyler's "And it's live" as the most annoying phrase in the history of the English language.

At least with Romano, we don't have to hear him say it.

Plus you're missing out Ally Mccoist's "Heeeeee's gaaaaaaaaaw taaaa scaawww 'derrrr", "I canny beleave it Jem"
