Palhinha heading to Munich

Fulham have given Joao Palhinha permission to travel to Munich to complete a transfer to Bayern Munich, according to Sky Sports News.

A year after arriving from Sporting Lisbon for £20million, Palhinha is valued at a whopping £80m by Fulham, but that fee seems unlikely on Deadline Day. Bayern are replacing Ryan Gravenberch, who is in Liverpool and completing a medical with the club.

Fulham are set to sign Alex Iwobi for £22million from Everton after he conducted a medical this morning, while Tottenham's Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has been identified as the most likely replacement for Palhinha.

Barca receive Lewandowski bid from Saudi Arabia

An unnamed Saudi Arabian side has made a Deadline Day bid for Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski.

Spanish newspaper Sport says Barca have been offered €40million (£34m) for the 35-year-old striker. Barca won't accept the bid and Lewandowski is happy to stay in Catalonia.

These sorts of offers will likely be a problem for the next few weeks, given the Saudi Pro League transfer window remains open until September 20.

DONE DEAL: Villa sign Lenglet on loan

Aston Villa have signed Clement Lenglet on loan from Barcelona.

Lenglet spent last season on loan with Spurs and has now joined up with Unai Emery - who managed him at Sevilla in 2017/18 - for the season as cover for the injured Tyrone Mings.

Mccoist is a treasure

I have a McCoist story.

Many moons ago, working in a bar in Edinburgh in my student days - late 90’s, he came in with two “dolly birds” on his arm - PR types fawning over him - he just wanted to have a pint of lager.

So… he comes in - and the pub is… well if you know Edinburgh, was at the east end of Princess Street opposite Waverley Station.

Super Ally says “Hey big man, how far’s the station - for the train back to Glasgae????”

Me : “Down the lane, cross the road, straight down the steps - no far at all… 5 mins away”.

Super Ally : “awww cheers big man!!”

Me : “… although… when’s you’re train?”

Super Ally : “Big man… ‘bout 20 mins… why??”.

Me : “Well… with your pace… if you don’t go now… you’ll miss your train!!!!!”

How did he take it? 😀

This is who I wanted us to chase as a DM, when it all went tits up for Calceido. He's a very decent player and already proven in the premier league. Shame...

So all that talk of Fulham wanting £80m was bollocks then, seeing as they’ve accepted Bayern’s £55m offer…

Maguire and McTominay to stay

Erik ten Hag has confirmed that Harry Maguire and Scott McTominay will remain at Manchester United.

Both have been linked with moves away this summer and it's understood West Ham failed to sign the duo.

Ten Hag said in his press conferece: "I think we have done good business. We constructed a strong squad and we are ready for the fight."

BREAKING: Man Utd strike Amrabat agreement

Manchester United have struck an agreement with Fiorentina for Sofyan Amrabat, per Fabrizio Romano.

United have been in talks with Fiorentina over a loan deal for the Morocco international, and it now seems as though an agreement has been struck with Fiorentina.

Ten Hag remained coy when he was quizzed in his pre-match press conference on Friday, but a deal does appear to be edging closer.

Good.

We've been linked to Sane if mo goes.

I like him, but seems quite injury prone

Just seen that Aston Villa are saying that Couthino is close to leaving
Do you know what that means?
First half place to Villa second-half place for us LOL

Absolutely yes!!!

Who the fuck is he?

Saw the highlights of him on youtube earlier, he has an eye for a pass, and can get the ball and is progressive. Sunderland fans think highly of him. Would be a good filler if we need a filler.
