Is that Chris?

He looks like a cross between Russell Howard and Paul O'Grady.

Wow, Bayern’s Palhinha deal collapsed. In fact all of their deadline day deals didn’t work out. Absolute bummer for Tuchel. Making us look almost competent in comparison.

German window closing earlier than others is a significant competitive disadvantage, no? I wonder if they will push to change it after this debacle.

LBJ is looking like he is been eating too much fried chicken

Re Greenwood:
Still registered and under contract. Understood that he won't play for United again - they keep paying him, he doesn't agitate for constructive dismissal.
They release him - they'd have to pay up (or negotiate a settlement of) his contract and they wouldn't get any future transfer fee if someone signed him permanently.
Loan him out - get a fee and/or contribution to wages - mitigates their wage liability.
Manage to sell him - save future wages and maybe get a fee.
So the reality is that the moral stance (he won't play for the club again) is tainted by the financial position, although in truth I can hardly blame them - they've sidelined the cunt, it would sting if they had to pay him a shitload of cash on top (which they still might have to if no-one offers him a squad place somewhere else).

That’s a weird one. Kasper Schmeichel has cancelled his contract at Nice “by mutual consent”.

so he’s a free agent and “home grown”

How did he take it? 😀

He laughed.

By all accounts he is as he appears - or certainly was in those days - friendly, fun sort of guy and quite down to earth - liked a beer and liked the ladies.

I think managing Rangers while they were being liquidated broke him a bit.

So all that talk of Fulham wanting £80m was bollocks then, seeing as they’ve accepted Bayern’s £55m offer…

Well he'll probably not be in the best frame of mind now. Mught be perfect for a cheeky bid of £55m in January, when Fulham have had tine to find a replacement? 😉
