We won't make the top 4 without Torres with Villa Spurs and City improving each year, but we cannot afford as a business to say no to 100m for one player.
In fact no football club could except maybe City and madrid.

Liverpool has seldom sold its best players at the top of their game. We are not a selling club. Why not sell Gerrard, Masher, Reina too? We'd get close to 200m for that lot.

Ha you having a laugh? Gerrard is 29. Reina is a keeper and Masher is a DM.
We'd do very well to crack 100m for the 3 of them.
Nobody has ever been sold for 100m and if we got offered that I would be stunned if we turned it down considering our dept and Torres injury record.
I'd be gutted but would see why it had to be so.
