i think its fair to say he has hinted that he wouldnt be against a move, the way he rushed to deny the story earlier in the summer pledging his allogience to the club, his claim last season that he cannot continue in the preiership long term because of injury concerns and hi total silence this summer when asked to commit himself

Obviously hes too classy a bloke to come and burn his bridges slag off the club and say he wants out because thats just not the type of player he is, his loyalty to a middling athletico side was admirable but hes 26 now and at the peak of his career he knows the window is short and i think hes sitting back sizing up the offers

He hasn't really ruled it out and has repeatedly said he would sort out his future after the World Cup, so he's being ambiguous when in reality it's piss easy to say "yeah, I'm staying".

It is easy, but would you? He's been away while the we've changed managers and had dozens of rumours around that the club want to sell him. He's not gonna say that until he has a chance to sit down and chat, and that's fair.
