Torres gone. Scum gone to more scum

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

Lllorente would be perfect. His release clause is 29 mill £.

As for a move to Real, nothing has been confirmed yet.

He's on 100k a week.

Even if we match it and give him 2 years, thats 10 million in wages for a 32 year old we should have bought 10 years ago.
I doubt we'd match the wages. If he's on that much I reckon we'd want a loan deal with them paying the difference in wages or all of them. We are firmly in the driving seat thanks to FSG's handling of this, we can, & will, get a good deal, I'm convinced of it.

Btw. Congrats on the final. (Handball)
Sweden are shit.

Cheers mate.

Don't think you guys are shit at all as France looks the strongest team of all but with Mikkel Hansen playing everything is possible for the Danes tonight. I'll certainly give it a watch, will make me think of something else than the scary prospect of Torres leaving.

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

I'm strangely ambivilent about the whole Torres thing as he wasn't my favourite player. Decided a long time ago not take a star player to heart as they are more likely break yor heart when they leave.
Take the money, spend it on young hungry talent (especially in wide areas) and move the fuck on.
Instead of being a legend Torres will be foot note

King Kenny will sort it out. Torres will stay. We'll win the Premiership next Season.

And I'm off to buy a Lottery-ticket.

Hurrah! THIS.

Don't want to be too off topic, so I'll keep it short.
France made Sweden look like pussies. Seriously.
I hope you guy beat them. Good luck.

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

Haha.. Ståle Solbakken, outspoken Liverpool-fan and manager at FC Copenhagen, hopes Torres stays put.

His team are facing Chavs in the 1/8 finals of the Champions League and he is NOT prepared to face Torres, he said.

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

That's the spirit Spidey. I don't have the time or energy to mope. Here is an opportunity to spend big on new talent like Hazard, Lavezzi and/or Llorente!

Bring in 2 class talents for 1. I can live with that.

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

JimBoardman SSN's @fraser_dainton says "we understand" there's a bid expected today of "in excess of £40m... possibly £45m... maybe £50m..." #LFC #CFC

Not really; thats the trigger clause.

If Citeh offer 60 we'd be able to sell him to them, assuming he's keen to go.
But if City offer 50 he'll have permission to talk to them anyway, why would they offer 60? After 50 there'd only be a bidding war on signing on fee and wages.

RT @JimBoardman: A car just drove past behind @fraser_dainton on SSN, occupant shouting "Torres you [four king] scumbag".

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

50 million is of no use to us unless we can get replacements in. Tell them to go and swivel. You can have him for 50 big ones in the summer.

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

get 50 in two payments - offer that 25 to Lille for Hazard ... and 25 in the summer for Lukaku ... We'll be a better team ...

bye bye Nando.
It's not easy to find a top class replacement in less than 48 hours Anita. That's why he's dropped us right in it with this timing

Don't think so. If he's not in training it's because Dalglish told him to stay away.

Tagenaldo posted a pic of himself on the roof top of a jeep looking over the brick walls around Melwood, so he at least can "see" that Torres isn't training..

I'm ashamed to call myself a fellow Norwegian.

If Dalglish is set on him leaving then there's no reason for him to be in training.

Really ? He'd actually have to have to common respect to communicate with Dalglish to do that.

Nothing to do with Dalglish. You've just made that up.

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

He's gone folks, I'd accept it. His no show means he has no intentions of playing for the club too. Take the £50m of Chelsea and re-invest it wisely - I wouldn't hurry or panic. It would be the wrong thing to do We'll be a much better team with 2-3 class players in it than the sulky play-when-feels-like-it prick anyway. Hope he goes the same way as Owen

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

Since there is only 1 day and 9 hours to go to the transfer window slams shut.

I'd say they now have to pay 50 mill + Kalou and Anelka.

Fuck em!

We know that we will get 50 mill for him this summer if he wants to leave, so if Chelsea wants him 1 day before the window closes, it's going to cost them a shitload.

Not 40 mill + Sturridge
aaaarrrrghhhh! no we don't know that at all! that's not what the clause means!

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

The idea that we'd get 50m or more in the summer is dubious at best. he'd have less time on his contract and would probably have been playing (if at all) like an absolute shithouse since january.

Sell him now, there's no going back.

So, you're saying that other big clubs won't come knocking in the summer if he wants to go??

He's said that he likes both Bayern and Juventus and you have Barca with a new kit deal.

Of course we can get 50 mill in the summer, and Chelsea will now that they can get him for it aswell. It's all about being tough and play hard ball.

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

He really has to go now, he has burned his bridges.

The Players hate him

The Fans hate him

I hope John Terry fucks his wife
