Yeah, that's agreed.
Maybe he thought Torres would stop bein a mardy arse and once we improved he'd be a lot happier to stay at Liverpool.
About the buyout clause; you're rght in that 50 million would be the maximum abd therefore selling for 48 now isnt altogether a bad thing.
But there is a possibility that we could get more assuming another team bidsmore and Torres is happy to go there, isnt there?
Obviously if Chelsea bid 50 million and Spurs bid 60, we'd be fucked because Torres would go to Chelsea.
But if Barca came along things might be different.
Then again, Torres could be on he physio in April and we'd get nothing anyway.
