I would just like to make it clear that I am not against the thought of signing Andy Carroll. But £30m is fucking madness. The fact that they turned down £23m from Tottenham should've been enough for us to start looking elsewhere.

He said he turned it on that day to let Rouble Roman know he was still the shit.

when i get up tomorrow there better be some good news..

I dont think i could cope with another 40 degree day and knowing that i have to watch Torres prance around like a twat until the summer.

Im still pissed off that another window has pretty much flown by and we still have NO WINGERS and No proper Left back.

Hoolihan is a very talented playmaker and I reckon he's worth a place in the Irish squad but as back up. I reckon he could make it in the EPL but at 29 he's probably left it too late. His biggest problem is he's a bit like Joe Cole in that nobody's very sure where to play him to utilise his talent most effectively - I reckon he's ideal in the Dalglish role i.e. playing just off the main striker.

I like Carroll as, ponytail aside, he does look the business but 35M is completely ridiculous. It's not hard to understand Newcastle though, they have no need to sell whatsoever while it's obvious we're desperate
