Not too far. Stupidly busy with work for a very long time. Took VR last year and I've been doing consultancy since. Still getting to Anfield whenever I can.

Right then.
I felt like Hodgson at the World Cup with this selection dilemma. So many Andros Townsends who’ve performed well at points, but didn’t quite make the final cut cos I discovered deep down that they’re actually shite. Anyway, as mentioned earlier – I boiled everything down to these two points:
1 – Do I read every single post they make?
2 – If there were only 5 posters left on this site who would I want them to be?
Before I launch into my 5, I have some qualifiers first for dudes that missed the list:
I had a bunch of guys who could have made it in for their football views; Dmishra, Sheik, Mamma Mia, Wizardry, Whirly, JohnnyRocket, Nir. Barak – but they all missed out though, so meh.
Same goes for funny dudes who I kinda bunched all in the one group too; FasterBlade, Cloggy, Athens, Leo, Dirkus_Circus, Gene, etc. Again – funny, but not quite it.
Some old-schoolers who I grew up with but aren’t around enough so fuck them:
Brendan
Vlad
Jamo
Lefty
Grjt
LarryHagman - I really wanted to include Larry in my 5 but he's fucking split on us.
And finally, dudes who were just plain unlucky to miss out:
Spion – Got let down by his overt Englishness really. X
Woland – Only missed out cos he hasn’t been here as long as my Top 5, and cos he has occasionally fucking ridiculous football views. I read everything he writes though, and he’s probably my sub keeper.
LTW – Probably no one I argue with more (Dreamy-aside) but he’s my man, and I feel bad for leaving him out.
Fabio – Good egg.
Fox5 – Only, only, only left out cos he didn’t meet my criteria number 1 above. The guy just posts far too much geek shit that I ignore, sorry F5.
Piedro – Doesn’t post enough.
Ross – I tried real hard to get him in there but some of his ‘tactics/managers are irrelevant’ stuff means he’s a non-runner.
Mark – The paragraphs are just too long. The music taste is just too shite.
PeterHague – I’m a big fan of the Hague, but he was weird for a while early doors. He’ll likely make this list in 1-2 years time.
So, that leaves me with the 'All-Time 5' (in no order):

- Oncy – I actually thought about leaving him out just cos he’s in everyone’s list, but it’s impossible. He writes everyman posts better than anyone else on here.
- Keniget – Yeah he’s knowledge about football n all, but the thing I love most about Ken is that he occasionally gets into arguments and handles himself like a boss in them every time. Tough to rattle that one.
- Skully – He’s fucking brilliant. Knows absolutely nothing about football for the most part, but still doesn’t let it stop him.
- Delinquent – Nobody on the site delivers a put-down better than Del. I agree with him on everything; football, life, Dreamy, how to manage yourself on an internet forum, etc. The man.
- Farkmaster – Yeah he’s just fucking great, plus he went out of his way to give me some beezer California advice for my honeymoon.
Done.
And I didn't feel a thing.

If we're going down the whole 'read all of their posts' 'post engaging stuff on a range of topics' route then i'd go with the below. This is all-time, some have dropped off a bit but it was posters like these below who have kept me foruming for so long!

I think everyone is rushing into their picks and picking people who they like & get on with over selecting genuine candidates for Six Crazy Minutes GOAT. No offence to guys like Athens (who I love on here) but they can't be considered best poster's of ALL TIME. That's ridiculous. I also think Brendan needs to make the top 5. Yeah he's been binned off in the last few years and rightly so but this site has being going for approx. 8 years. Love him or hate him, we used to read all of his posts. Has to be considered for an all time top 5 list.

Agree with all of the above. That's why Woland didn't make my list - not been around long enough to be in the 'all-time' list.
I'm still perfectly content with my list. Might have found a spot for Dave here though. Fark would be most likely to drop out.
