Striker Milan Jovanovic believes Liverpool's disappointing season will not stop them attracting the top players.
The Reds endured a nightmare campaign, finishing seventh in the top flight and failing to advance beyond the group stages of the UEFA Champions League.
And with doubts surfacing over the future of manager Rafa Benitez and star trio Fernando Torres, Steven Gerrard and Javier Mascherano, Liverpool's summer transfer business could suffer.
However, 29-year-old Serbian international Jovanovic, who will arrive at Anfield from Standard Liege on a free transfer after the World Cup, insists the club's high-profile alone is enough to entice the big names.
"Liverpool are a big club despite a poor season," Jovanovic said in The Lying Rag.
"There will be a squad of 20 high-quality players and everyone waiting for the chance to show what they can do."
