FT CELTIC 1-0 ST MIRREN. @FraseForster makes history as Celtic keep their 11th successive clean sheet in the league (MH)
A fantastic achievement for the English internationalist as he eclipses Charlie Shaw's long-standing record. (MH)

Reflective of the league's standard? Or perhaps he (and the defence) deserves some credit?

Poor Reina. Just got reinstated in Napoli's starting lineup today, and they proceed to get a 3-0 drubbing at Atalanta. Apparently he made a howler for Atalanta's first goal while Inler and Frederico contributed errors of their own for the other goals. From the Soccernet report:

Reina should have coped much better with Denis' powerful strike but the Spaniard instead allowed the ball to slip off his gloves and end up in the net.

2 points from the last 3 games against teams in the bottom half of the table. Napoli's challenge has faltered since mid November I think, and they now find Fiorentina just 3 points behind them in the race for 3rd and a place in the CL qualifiers for next season.

Will be surprised if Newcastle are the only club that'll be going after Remy Cabella. Scored 8 and assisted 6, contributing 50% of Montpellier's league goals. His 2 goals and assist over the weekend:

He'll be our 100k a week backup goalie next season.

I wonder which teams would take Reina next season, be it on loan or through a purchase (hopefully the latter; we can ill afford to keep loaning him out and letting the residual value run down with 2 years left on his contract). Valdes will be coming into the market as well, so clubs looking for an experienced keeper will have a choice of either. Will City be looking for an experienced keeper to challenge or replace Hart? If so, it's conceivable they could look at either of them, especially with a Spanish manager at the helm and a contingent of ex-La Liga players there familiar with them.

I don't think I've seen so many wankers wearing blue at the same time before.

City look shocking at the back. Two right sided defenders just stood there watching two Chelsea players in space near the penalty spot.

great goal though

A great shot maybe, but a very poor goal to concede by City because Chelsea were almost strolling about. It looks like City expected to overwhelm Chelsea through their 'unstoppable' attacking prowess and have subsequently neglected to devote enough resource to defence.

Having given away those 2 points at West Brom yesterday I don't believe we can now catch and pass all three of Arsenal, City and Chelsea to win the title. Therefore, I really want City to win this and leave us only 3 pts behind Chelsea.

It amazes me how we post such fearful stuff about city. We're as good as on the day- despite the lack of bazillions.

I think most of that is related to how they blow away nearly all the mediocre teams they face; it makes them appear better than there. And yes, we were worth at least a draw at their ground and shouldn't be remotely scared of them at Anfield.

Matic sadly looks great already.

And those who wrote off Willian after 1 month look a bit dim now, great player. Would have loved him in our side.

Yaya Toure looks exhausted and is just jogging about even more languidly than he normally does.

I haven't seen him lose the ball once tonight. Works his socks off too.
