It ruins club football seasons. Surely there is an approach that says the Euros is a qualification tournament for the World Cup. E.g. larger group stage, last 8 all qualify for WC and then fight it out for the championship. There might be some friendlies towards the end of the season but please fuck off these constant breaks for friendlies and qualification games. Shite.

No professional is actually going to do it, but at his age, and given his injury record of late, does it even make sense for his career to be trying to play his way into the England first team? He should retire from international football.

Due to a conflict between the players and DBU (the organisation) Denmark is fielding a team of amateurs (some almost from the same level as where I'm playing now) against Skrtel & Co. tomorrow. If any bookmaker out there is yet to catch this news, you should back the hometeam to win with a margin of at least 5. Probably 10.

Yes from football - the way I see it - he should have been the second one on the sell list after Markovic. Honestly - we payed the same for him as Gini but I think the best we have got for 25M on this guy has been maybe 10 games in his time at Liverpool. Before any of you give me - "but when he was playing he was our chief in press press - our best player blah blah blah" - fuck me, every time he busted a gut for the team you could tell he was going to get injured or some hammy would go on him. Klopp's worse decision in his career was to play him in the CL final. A complete waste of space in our team - should not even be playing in the PL.
