The Manure have just signed Van Der Beek, they're not going to further overload their midfield with Thiago unless they sell someone like Fred. If Liverpool are not an option this summer, I doubt he would choose Arsenal unless they're willing to give him a 5 year contract and £250k a week. If Liverpool can't afford him (or will not pay the amount sought for by BM) then i reckon Thiago will bide his time and wait to be released.

I get excited every time I see a notification for a tweet from Joyce and Pearce, hoping it's news about Thiago signing for us, except Joyce only seems to be tweeting about someone signing for Everton and Pearce seems to only retweet some platitude-ridden article from The Athletic about the challenges that lie ahead for us this season.
