I feel sorry for the old duffer

Vlads?

Actually no, fuck him. He's shit, we all knew he would be, we need new owners, a new manager and Purssslow out

Cunts. The lot of them

Slagging him off for shit players he didn't actually buy?

That's fucking desperate mate.

Change the record. It's boring.

The players should be getting the majority of the stick imo. In the final season under Rafa and now under Roy they've been playing way below the levels that they should be. Some of them need to man the fuck up and start producing the goods.

I agree with this completely.
Its never going to happen though.
Roy will continue to get it in the neck regardless of players performances.

Indeed, but there's no choice.

If the manager can't get the best out of his players, we need another manager.

Rafa4PM is absolutely right that lots of players werent fit to wear the shirt last year; partly because they were shit, and partly because some didnt give a shit.

But we're skint, and cant sack a bunch of players on big contracts.

If Roy can't do it, he needs to go.

If the geriatric Budgie-faced twat doesn't batter Blackpool on Sat'day, then he need to be run out of Anfield.

Hopeless old fucker

okay, 'NOW' is it okay to remove the question mark?

""It was a good point because we knew it was going to be a tough game," he said. "I thought the problems we had, if we had any at all, and the occasions when they created chances were of our own making.

"We created some good chances ourselves and it wasn't a dull 0-0. There was activity at both ends of the field. Utrecht did well, they were determined, aggressive and committed, so we knew we had to be at our best defensively to keep them out and fortunately we did.

"I thought their crossing was very good and I think you could quite easily see today why Utrecht have such a good home record. It would have been unfortunate for them had we won the game tonight, I think Utrecht would have felt hard done by."

Ah well, then, good for Utrecht!. We wouldn't want them to feel hard done by!

Dreambeliever:

We played Arsenal, and well, hey are Arsenal....should be happy with a draw...

We played City, and well, they are "CITY"....we shouldn't expect to have got a result...

We played Brum and well they have a great home record. We should be happy with a draw.

We played United away, and well, no-one dominates there, so we shouldn't feel bad about looking like crap except for seven Steevie G minutes of brilliance

We played Sunderland, but you know what, they are a good side these days under Bruce. We shouldn't feel bad..

We played Utrecht, but you know what, they have a GREAT home record. Utrecht are the new AC MILAN it seems...

I'm tired of bad results and hearing about the other teams strengths. I'd prefer to see a manager show some confidence rather than a non competitive decency towards the opposition.

Come on, this is Liverpool for jesus sakes. I don't care if we're financially in the shitter. there's enough talent there to be doing better. Adversity should be bringing out the best in us. Talk like a winner, set your stall out like a champion.

We got 1 point away from home. Its not such a bad result. People are just trying really hard to find reasons to hate Roy. Pathetic

I actually think that's why Roy was appointed - to lower our expectations. It seems like he's on a crusade to do just that.

Or perhaps he was just brought in to make our next manager look like a world-beater?

Ahhhh it is fucking enough... Why should Hodgson get away with lies, when we crusify the americans for the same thing???

What exactly can he have said to Stevie, Nando, Joe Cole etc for them to be so entusiastic about their future here??? It is fucking impossible that he told them he would sort out his team like this?

Thanks for the draw Roy, now fuck off!

I hated his desperate 2 minute sign at the end of the match.

2 Minutes to hold out, for the draw!

We almost done it, just 2 minutes to go!

FFS!

At least Rafa flinted between moments of genius and insanity, Roy's pure insanity. He needs to decide on how he wants to play and stick with it. He can't decide on who to play where, instead he's messing about with positions and formations all the time.

I really didn't think we could get more painful than we were last season.

*Posted on another thread.. more apt here..*

I'm willing to give Roy time. But I have to admit, I am very concerned right now.

Honestly, I wanted a young manager with fresh ideas and positive thinking like Riijkaard, because I wanted to see our team try and play positive creative football.

Having seen his first few months in charge, I fear, even if Roy is very successful with us (i'm talking 4th place), it'll be much in the same manner that our previous 2 managers were; with slow, defensive, cautious, unimaginative football. Which I've concluded will NEVER be enough to win the Premiership (based on the empiral evidence of the last 20years).

I guess I was hoping Roy would change his style of play given the superior players at his disposal. But as someone said, he looks an old dog, who can't learn new tricks. We won't be playing good positive football anytime soon I'd guess. His style is his style. Which had brought him relative success in the past.

So unfortunately, I don't think Roy will ever be good enough for us long term (with his brand of football).

Right now, I'm just hoping Roy WILL be a good enough stop-gap for a year whilst we get the ownership situation sorted. He should be given our FULL support for the year or so he's still here.

Great thread this. Hopefully nobody will ever bother arguing with me again. Some proper red faces in the Leave Roy Alone! Brigade.

When will you fucking learn?

Sack the useless, budgie-faced old cunt *now*

Agree.

Yep I would have been all for him being relieved of his duties at half time.

I wonder what defeatist, loser, post match jibberish he'll spout at full time.
