Competitiveness isn't only measured by how many clubs can realistically win the league. It is, quite pedantically, how much competition there is between the teams. Other than 3-5 teams every season who are reliably poo, pretty much every other team can win a game against any other team. Rarely does a team win by showing up, a la Bayern or Juve (ok, until last few seasons). Or have a duopoly like in Spain.
It's the most competitive league. Period. The same imbalances exist between the haves and have-lesses but not quite as vast. Until Newcastle, of course.
