On Suarez:
The chairman of anti-racism group Kick It Out, Lord Ouseley, said: "The FA has shown leadership and intent through what has clearly been a difficult and complex complaint to deal with, and invested time and expertise to ensure this outcome. It has demonstrated that it will not stand for discrimination, something organisations such as Fifa and Uefa should take heed of." But he added: "This charge is not saying Luis Suarez is a racist. It's saying, on this occasion, he used racist language. It doesn't make him a bad guy - he needs to learn what is acceptable."

On Terry:
Lord Ousely, chairman of the charity Kick it Out which campaigns against all forms of discrimination in football, said it was a "very sad day for football" and added that he was "surprised" at the CPS decision. He said: "From my point of view, yes, it would be very good if we could have moved ahead and not have to go through this."

HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.

Are they both True?

Why in the fuck would someone lock that monumental thread. Now we have to start from the scratch to get to 100 pages.....but we will get there.

Let's get to it!
If you view the whole 'locked' thread, copy it then post it here. Would that push this to 100 pages?

I wonder who's idea it was?
It doesn't look like it was the same person that released the club statement last night anyway. Cos the above is spot on
Were you shocked and angered that he has been found guilty by the FA as well then?
No, because I read what he was charged with and understood it.
Do you agree with the punishment and the length of the ban?
No.

Re: The Suarez/Evra Racism Row (continued)

From everything i have read and seen. He is a very likable lad off the pitch. Very down to earth and level headed. He does quite a lot for charity. He is not a bone head like Balotelli. On the pitch, he wears that South American spirit and tends to get carried away....

But i don't really understand how some of our fans are so very willing to sell him down the river and laugh at others who are angered by the whole event as being paranoid.

I think in the last three years, come Christmas time ,the FA have managed to find a way to make an example of us. They have fancy names for screwing us over as well...

We are sending a strong message for the Respect campaign...
We are sending a strong message for the "Kick it out" campaign...

Liverpool players dive too much, Liverpool players crowd the referee....

Every time it's a liverpool player who is made an example out of....I'm still in disbelief at the number of times players have been allowed to kick Suarez blatantly this season and get away with it. Other managers will be crying from the roof top to give more protection to quality footballers like Suarez in their team...while our skill player gets kicked under the ground while the referee looks the other way. When would he earn some sympathy? After some cunt breaks his leg?

Call me paranoid or whatever the fuck you want....but i'm really pissed, and if it is just another so called sport orchestrated by money minded cronies like Wrestling, then i have no interest in following the sport.

I'm not surprised in the least. Whilst it is one ethnic minority against another the FA are quick to mete out punishment to show they are doing something about racism. When it comes to an 'Englishman', different story altogether. I can imagine the FA doling out punishment if 2 black players used the 'N' word to each other, but when it comes to racist chanting like at Chelsea recently, the silence is deafening. The FA have displayed a lot more racism than Suarez has, that's for damn sure

Re: The Suarez/Evra Racism Row (continued)

The FA have handed Andy Carroll an 8 game run out for Liverpool. The club are to submit an immediate appeal.

Re: The Suarez/Evra Racism Row (continued)

Alejandro Balbi (L), the lawyer of Uruguayan footballer Luis Suarez, gives a press conference in Montevideo on December 21, 2011. England football team Liverpool reacted furiously after Luis Suarez was banned for eight games by the Football Association for racially abusing Manchester United's Patrice Evra and vowed to fight the verdict.
